Google Bad experience! I went for a simple manicure for cuticle maintenance, since I keep my nails short and don't use nail polish. However, the manicurist began filing my entire nail with an electric file. I asked whether this method was any good for my nails, but didn't get much of a reply. Soon after, my nails were so thin that they started chipping. Two months later, my nails are still thin and breaking off, and the old nail that was filed down looks like a bump compared with the new nail. Looking back, I should have just stopped him, but as I don't get manicures often, I thought I was overreacting and expected the manicurist to know what they were doing. I guess they are so used to acrylics that they do not know what to do with natural nails?
