Saddened to say this felt more like a hypedup marketing exercise designed to overcharge customers than a genuinely premium experience.

I booked a Deluxe Pedicure with the ''Extended Massage'' and Performance Polish, expecting a high end treatment that justified the price point. Unfortunately, the service did not come close to matching the expectations created by Townhouse’s branding & marketing. In all honesty I’ve received better & more thorough treatments at local nail salons across Greater London for 50% less than they charge.

The massage including the “extended” portion lasted no more than 6 minutes in total &felt extremely underwhelming. There was little to no proper foot scrub or wash plus minimal attention was given to removing hard skin underneath the feet, which is a basic expectation of a deluxe pedicure.

I shared this was meant to be a birthday treat with some much needed relaxation time, yet there was constant conversation throughout the treatment, making it difficult to actually switch off & enjoy the experience.

Another aspect that felt quite uncomfortable was being immediately handed an iPad to leave a review the moment the service ended. It comes across as quite confrontational, especially when customers are still processing the experience. Reviews should feel organic, not prompted so prematurely by staff at the end of every appointment. That felt more like a ''Townhouse marketing and Training'' issue than a reflection on the staff themselves.

To be clear, the nail technician who treated me was genuinely lovely. A very friendly, polite and kind human throughout. My disappointment is directed at the overall service standard & the clear mismatch between the Luxury image being sold & the reality of the experience delivered.

The only “premium” touch was an orange-scented towel at the end, which I honestly could have done without if the actual scrub & massage were exceptional.

Overall, a very disappointing experience & nowhere near worth the premium pricing.

I gifted my mum a luxury manicure for Mother's Day and Kejsi (of Wimbledon Village branch but working at King's Road on this occasion) did an amazing job at making the appointment extra special for her. She provided great conversation to us and took extra care with her hot lotion and hand massage treatments, making her feel so relaxed and just what I had hoped for when booking. Thank you Kejsi for a lovely experience!

Had a pedicure- one the worst I’ve ever had. She didn’t even cut my nails and done the bare minimum. (I paid for the luxury option)
The gel manicure didn’t even last 4 hours. 5 days in and every single gel came off. Customer care didn’t even reply to me. Avoid!

I visited for a mani and Pedi and was seem by KoKo and Michelle, both really wonderful nail techs. Warm, good hearted and spirited, they made the whole experience really enjoyable and I am really happy with my Mani and Pedi!

Very disappointing. I went in for a gel manicure with my friend who got a normal polish manicure. Her nails looked fantastic at the end! Unfortunately the results were not so good for me with the technician I had. After I left the appointment I noticed nail polish all over my skin around my nails and on my fingers. My cuticles have been pushed back almost too far - my husband thought they were bleeding. My polish is not smooth at all and there are multiple little dents in them. It’s not noticeable from a far but I can see it and so could my friend and partner when they looked closely. When I pointed out that the filing of my right thumb was uneven I was told that’s just the way my nail is. My friend I was with ok the other hand had a great experience and her nails looked great. It’s unfortunate that the standard between two technicians is so drastically different. A lot of the little marks and discoloured/matte looking parts on my nails in the photos below are dents in the nails and a strange sticky substance around my cuticles that won’t come off easily with soap and water

Townhouse Kings Road is my absolute fave, the team are so warm and kind and always go above and beyond. Special shout out to Subrina who always knows what nail colours and shape I’ll love, and who stayed late with Rhi one evening to finish my nails when I had made an error on my booking! ♥️
