I thought my experience was unique but absolutely not. Mirroring the reveiw from Breeny, I had the same exact experience from Lam (the main guy) he was so extremely rude to me and I also sense racism. He kept telling me I can't do a certain shape because of the nail length I was chosing, ( I've done this style several times and done that exact shape and length ect). He was huffing and puffing, extremely rude and patronising. I was trying to remain calm as my nail days are considered as my self care days. So to be treated this way truly disturbed me. So I stopped him and pointed to another nail tech and asked if the other nail tech could do my nails instead.. Lam was obviously cussing me in his language. The other nail tech was so accommodating and gave me exactly what I asked for with no issues. This lam guy is a disturbed individual who shouldn't be working with the public especially black woman. I would go as far to say that he seems dangerous. This was not a isolated incident he has been rude to me several timed before but it seems he's becoming progressively worse! It's only a matter of time untill he behaves this way to the wrong customer.

Other then that the other nail tech did my nails well and treated me great. Lam needs to pack it in and find another profession.

An employee called Lam treated me very disrespectfully.

I have been coming to this store for two years and have always selected Lam regardless of his poor attitude and his insensitivity in handling me.

I sense a racism in him but regardless I proceed in coming because he is quick.

Nevertheless I showed up at the time of opening 10am and sat and waited for Lam to come in for 15 minutes. When he sat down I immediately showed him the image I was going for a very simple rounded nail. See attachment.

Whilst he was cutting the acrylics down he asked me how short, I told him but as he was correcting he kept cutting shorter and shorter, when he was about to start filing he asked me what shape. AGAIN I showed him the picture that’s when he started shouting at me and telling me that you can’t have that because the nails are too short (the very nails he just cut) I explained to him calmly that I showed him the picture when I first sat down. Why did you cut so short? He continued shouting and got up and said he’s not going to do my nails. The woman who runs the shop (not the manager) but the only one who seems to have common sense.

She tried to calm him down and he refused.

He had only put the tips on so to take them off would not have been much hassle.

When he finally sat back down 10 mins later after much attacking, I said to him nicely, please can you take them off and start again, he literally peeled them off with his nails causing much pain.

Once he had finished taking them off (which literally took 3 mins) expected him to put a new full set on but no he took them off and got up in anger and went to drink coffee. Refusing to service me, of an inconvenience he caused.

I have never felt so violated and treated so badly by a person who is supposed to offer a “service”
You don’t know what type of morning or weekend a person has had that could tip them over the edge.

I have never cried over something like this but he embarrassed me in front of other customers, some who were there for the first time.

I am not a person to leave negative reviews but I cannot enable this behaviour by simply walking away.

I was really looking forward to having my nails done for my special occasion but sadly that was taken away from me with no compensation.

One hour sitting there and my nails worse off than when I came at 10am, I am devastated.

Lam needs to be put on a disciplinary and taught how to treat people with kindness. It is not about him, it’s about the customer and delivering a service even if you don’t like the colour of their skin.

For this reason I will never return to this shop nor recommend anyone to go here. You will never get a chance to violate me a second time.

There are other shops in Woolwich with better service and kindness attached to it.

If the owner of this shop wants to rectify this she can email me. And make this right.
Doubt it.

Nails never done properly.
Last one two weeks ago was even worst.
No manager Asian lady is the only taking the money.
Any problem she has no answer or unable to solve the issue.

Avoid this place - limited colour choice and service compared to most nail salons this one is outdated similar to 1996!! Staff are rude the choice of colours are limited and they can't do gel or dipping close the shop you guys are rubbish

Honestly I love these nails, the customer service is sooo nice. I forgot the name of the guy who did my nails but he was sooo quick and did them exactly how I’d asked. I will deffo be back! I asked for baby pink powder acrylic nails! They are £30 for medium length. Honestly I think it’s worth it.
