I highly recommend Julie’s. I have been coming for regular pedicures for the last couple of years and have always been happy with the results. The team are friendly and there is a good selection of colours, the pedicure is very relaxing with a great foot massage.

Very disappointing experience. When I walked in, I was ignored completely. I asked for a nail colour chart and was told to “just look at the bottles,” which felt dismissive and unhelpful.

I arrived on time for my appointment and explained that I was in a rush, yet I was still left waiting. When I asked about it, I was told very abruptly that “someone would come,” with no apology or reassurance. The tone was rude and made me feel uncomfortable.

While this was happening, other customers in the salon were also complaining about the service and agreed with me, which says a lot. As a first-time customer, this was not a welcoming experience at all. I ended up leaving because of how awkward and unprofessional it felt.

There are plenty of other salons in the Balham area offering better prices and much better customer service. I won’t be returning.

I would not recommend here at all… I was charged £80 for infills on my nails and a french shellac on my toes … really poor choice of colours in comparison to other salons

Lovely service! Don’t listen to what others say, most of the bad reviews are mad that the workers are speaking in their native language to each other even though it’s England where theres so many people from different countries. The service was quick and reliable, the staff are always up for a chat and are very nice and easy to talk to

horrible my nails are wonky and they are bumpy i payed £30 i want a refund !! she filed my skin and now it looks bad like ive bitten it. she kept telling me to relax relax my hand was relaxed though. i said to her i have a hair in one of my nails she said dont worry dont worry and she just painted over it ridiculous

In to Julies nails to see if we could get a pedicure at 6:05 this evening. I asked the lady were they open as there was no customers and all the staff are sitting down on their mobile phones. She replied yes so I proceeded to ask her if she could fit both myself and my mother in for a pedicure, she done, looked around at her. Other two colleagues said something in her language, and then said oh, we’re gonna be closing soon. Everywhere else in Balham is full and now I understand why there was nobody in this place I felt they didn’t want to look after us because of the colour of the skin? I may have this wrong, but the response and the time it took to let us know that they were going to be closing soon. Didn’t make sense when initially she’d said to me that they were open. Anyway, I shouldn’t be going back there again their loss as I’m a regular customer now master it’s just I was fully booked so I just thought I’d update yourself Julie as I was really disappointed with this lack of service.

This is my go to shop for my nails!! Hands and feet. They are amazing, funny and friendly. Nails precision and finished look is always amazingly on point. Price is good and facilities are so fresh and clean. My nails can’t go anywhere else but here!! Definitely worth a try and you won’t go back to anywhere else! :)
