I had face waxing done today and had a really good experience. The website was easy to use and booking the appointment was straightforward. I paid the deposit and received confirmation straight away, which made me feel secure about the booking. They accept both cash and card, which is helpful.

I originally booked for 9am but received a phone call asking if it could be moved to 10am because she needed to drop her children off first. I assume the earlier slot may have been available because they have multiple staff. Either way it didn’t affect me and I didn’t mind moving the appointment.

I arrived at 9:55 and waited in the sitting area. The lady doing my waxing arrived about 5 minutes late, which wasn’t a problem at all.

Before starting she asked if it was my first time, checked the wax temperature, and made sure I was comfortable. She also cleaned her hands before starting and again after the treatment, which I appreciated as it showed good hygiene.

Normally waxing hurts, but the speed and technique she used made it surprisingly painless. She applied the wax carefully, checking the direction of hair growth and planning each step properly. It didn’t feel rushed at all and it felt like she genuinely cared about doing a good job.

She cleaned my face before starting, which I appreciated for hygiene. She also neatened my eyebrows without me even asking. I had them threaded earlier in the week somewhere else but they weren’t fully cleaned up. She kept the same shape and didn’t make them thin or change the style, just tidied them nicely.

At the end she checked everything from different angles and used tweezers to remove any small hairs left behind. It felt like a very thorough service.

After the treatment she applied oil to my skin and recommended some services that might help with my skin concerns. The only small suggestion I would make is to ask clients about allergies before applying oils, as not every product works for everyone’s skin.

Overall the waxing took about an hour because she was very thorough. My facial hair grows in different directions and some areas are difficult, so I really appreciated the care she took.

I would definitely come back again and I would happily recommend her to others. I’m very pleased with the service.
