Really disappointed if im honest. Came here on a recommendation, paid £40 for infills and french tips. Told the guy that the nails weren't symmetrical. He thought i meant they were wonky and got a little stand offish when I asked him to correct one so I didnt bother asking with the others. After only 4 days the paint for the French tip chipped and now less than a week on, the entire paint on one nail has come off. Dont think ill be returning

Rude staff, nails are thick. Made me bleed, charged extra even though I had booked and had an expected cost, spoke their own language between themselves and very dismissive of any corrections. Avoid, its not worth it. I paid £53 for these.

Im genuinely surprised the rating of this shop given my girlfriends experience. Firstly, booked online added all the extras and then in person they still add more to the cost. Keep an eye on your nails during the service as you have to point out to them when they file your nails at an angle, they chat with each other not in english about you, my girlfriend had her finger cut during the manicure and there was no offer of discounted price, they only take cash but do not tell you in advance or on the website...

Just one issue after the other.

Hands down the best Nails Salon in Basingstoke. I have been coming here for a few years now and my nails always came out perfect. They always do such a good job on my nails and feet can't fault it at all. Would never go anywhere else.

Update: Has been with then for the last few years and I can say they are the best. Thank you for taking care of me x .

Really nice nails!!!! And the nicest nail shop by far in Basingstoke they even ask if you’d like a drink! They take their time and don’t rush which lots of other nail places do. I’ll keep coming back for my infills here!

Second time at Coco Nails and, as always, the service was awful. I’m literally writing this review right after finishing my nails there because I’m really not happy with the experience.
I asked for chrome nails, but what I got looked nothing like the sample. When I pointed out that it was completely different, the staff started speaking in their own language and seemed annoyed just because I didn’t just say yes to everything. Every time I mention that I’m not happy with something, they get frustrated even though I’m the one paying a lot of money for the service.
Instead of fixing the issue, they seemed more interested in arguing with me. On top of that, they charged a lot just for an infill, and by the end of the appointment they even left me bleeding.
Honestly, this is one of the worst places I’ve been to for nails. I definitely wouldn’t recommend it

My girlfriend just went to this place and what an awful experience. The woman who did the nails was extremely rude which I could live with if she was good at her job. She wasn't. My French tip was left looking too thick with paint. I asked for some to be taken off and she added on. Literally finished my nails then did nothing after and left them with dry skin all over. No care taken and then charged £35 for a rubbish job. Would avoid this place like the plague. Useless.

Been using them for a few months and though not the best environment as staff do not interact with customers whatsoever . If only I knew mandarin or had those ear pods that translate . Other than lack of customer interaction they do a great job on your nails. Maybe a few tweaks here and there like a tv on the wall or a mixed background music playing but other than that I’m happy with my nails .
One thing that bugs me though is why every nail bar including this one only takes cash . Is this to avoid paying what us minions have to pay regardless . Doesn’t seem fair.

Shame as the nails they do are mostly good but the staff are so rude and aggressive. From the moment you walk in they act as if they can’t be bothered with you, they rush you to choose a colour and get it on asap without bothering to check if you’re happy. They all talk about you knowing full well you don’t understand their language. If you say anything they all snigger and talk amongst themselves in a different language or roll their eyes. They can’t be bothered to do basic things like push your cuticles down, or apply a clear top coat. The last time I went in there they cut my acrylics before asking if I wanted to keep the length. For the prices they charge they could at least try to be polite. Unfortunately I won’t be returning to them, and will find a new salon. Don’t waste your money here, it’s just push the customer out as fast as possible and be rude and aggressive to them and take their money.
