​I have visited this location multiple times, but my experience today was completely unacceptable. During a face wax, a significant portion of skin was peeled off my lower lip, and I was left with a visible cut on my upper lip.
​When I started to bleed, the technician was incredibly dismissive. Rather than taking responsibility or offering an apology, she told me my lips were "too dry" and provided zero soothing lotion or aftercare for the wounded area. To make matters worse, I left the salon with wax still stuck behind my ears and inside my nose.
​It is better to cancel an appointment than to perform a service so rushed and unfocused that it causes physical injury to a client. As a loyal customer, I am shocked by the lack of professionalism and basic safety standards. I will not be returning and would caution others—especially if you expect a technician to take accountability for their work.

Update :
The business replied saying why did I return ?, I clearly mentioned this happened on the recent visit, not the first four visits . Please read my review properly .

Injury: I was waxed on the actual lip, causing bleeding. No apology or aftercare was provided for the wound.

Negligence: I left the salon with wax still stuck behind my ears and inside my nose.

I just had a haircut at Somi Hair and Beauty, and I’m genuinely so impressed! It was my first time experiencing an American-style haircut (wash, dry, then cut), and although I was a bit sceptical at first, I don’t think I can ever go back to a normal cut now. It’s honestly the best haircut I’ve ever had. My hair sits beautifully, and I asked for layers—which is exactly what I got. The result is natural, light, and perfectly blended. I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend!

I have been to Somi a few times for nails and loved them, so after reading reviews I went for a haircut.

Did not get what I asked for in the slightest. I showed Somi a photo of me last year with slightly shorter hair and long layers to make my fine hair look thicker. However what I got was double the length off that I wanted and thinning scissors used throughout, when my hair is super fine anyway. When I tried to say something I just got asked to not move. The haircut itself is good however nothing like what I asked for, not happy.

I had my hair cut and highlights and base colour changed. My hair came out exactly as I had asked for and looked great even though I had previous colour on it. The staff were also very kind and lovely. I had a great experience here overall

Very good experience. I had been wanting to do something with my eyelashes and eyebrows for a while, but I was scared to get microblading right from the start, so I opted for brow and lash lamination. I went in very nervous, but Somi treated me very well. Considering my English isn't great, she still made me feel comfortable.

The first day, my skin became quite red and it's still red, but I think it's because I wax and my skin is very sensitive. I didn't think to warn her, but I will next time. It's already better with some cream.

Besides the good treatment, she explained the differences between lamination and microblading. I will definitely go back since I moved to the area, and Somi made me feel very confident.

After doing the eyebrow laminate and also the manicure several times. I can only say that it has become a place of trust where I can go relaxed and confident.

I was here to do nail today as recommended by a friend but very disappointed by the service. The woman was very arrogant, and wasn’t even listening to my requests. She was not even bothered cutting my sensitive nails by sharp files, resulted bleeding. Despite telling her so many times that I’m hurt. She replied, she is doing this job for 20 years. 😱 I don’t know where her sympathy and care has disappeared if she is doing this job so many years. The highlight of doing nails was despite showing her design and explaining, she couldn’t even make a proper heart shape, (can be seen on picture attached)🙄not even same shape, erasing multiple times. This was the worse decision to visit this place and waste my money. I wish I could say this to her gentle to make her understand but I couldn’t stand her arrogant presence. Wish I could get my money back for this torcher and trauma.😞
