I had my ears pierced by Ellie today and she was amazing! She was really friendly, explained everything clearly, and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process. She was very meticulous when marking my ears and made sure everything was perfectly placed before piercing them. Her attention to detail and professionalism really stood out. I’m so happy with the result and would highly recommend Ellie to anyone considering getting their ears pierced!

Popped into Superdrug Chelmer this morning (25 April 2026) and honestly wasn’t expecting to leave feeling the way I did. The guy on the till was really rude, I was already standing a good distance from the person in front of me, and he still told me to step back in quite an abrupt way and showing attitude towards customer. It just felt unnecessary and a bit embarrassing, especially when I wasn’t doing anything wrong.
What made it worse was seeing how lovely the woman on the other till was, so calm and friendly with everyone she served. The difference was night and day.

Hope management takes note, because one person’s attitude really does put a damper on the whole experience.

I popped in to look at some gifts for my sister. George was an absolute star helping me with different fragrances at different price points! The customer service and product knowledge was 10/10. Id definitely come back in the future to look for more gifts!

I would give a zero if I could. The store itself is nice but the staff are miserable, rude people who are in need of customer service training. Every time I go in nobody at the till has the decency to ask if I want my receipt or even say hello. There is a need of new staff. It’s outrageous how people are working in a job where your ment to be greeting customers yet you act like your begin held against gunpoint while doing a job you chose to do!!!!

I had a great experience at Superdrug in Chelmsford (High Chelmer) recently. The store was clean, well-stocked, and easy to navigate. A special shoutout to Tilli, who was incredibly helpful and friendly - she went above and beyond to help me find what I needed and offered great advice on products. Her warm and professional attitude made my visit extra pleasant.

I had the need for a specific product, a perfume atomiser. I was politely approached by Kaz, a polite individual who asked me my requirement and then after showing me my choice. She continued to be informative and helpful whilst always being respectful of my decision. I then look on your reviews and see you have another member of staff, Jamilla.

I would therefore like to thank the team (with the specific individuals mentioned above). For the most refreshing experience in high street shopping, I have had the opportunity to experience in along time.

Did one of the 30 minute click and collects, ordered 2 lipliners and one lipstick, went there to pick it up after an hour, still wasnt ready. Made me wait about 20 minutes whilst they sorted it out, when i received it i only got one of the lipliners and the wrong lipstick, no refund nothing- never again

Went to the Chelmsford, Essex store today to try and find a perfume or aftershave for my friend to help train her nose to smell following losing all sense of smell after Covid.
Jamila served me today, and was fantastic. Very attentive and polite, and couldn’t do enough to help me.
After pointing out my current aftershave that we know works on my friends sense of smell, Jamila went about finding a close match from the ones available so we could fill a perfume pod.

Even though the store was busy, Jamila remained focussed in delivering a high quality service to help me find and purchase an aftershave.

She was so good in-fact, I bought not only the perfume pod but a bottle of my premium aftershave and a bottle of everyday aftershave to put on after a shower.

Thank you and great job Superdrug and especially Jamila.
I hope Superdrug reward Jamila with some firm of employee recognition as she was outstanding.

You wont find the store in that location and when you try to ring the store using contact provided in google it says invalid number. Wasted a lot of time.
