I booked an appointment through Instagram for the next day and was told everything was fine. When I arrived, all the chairs were full and there were multiple people waiting: all walk-ins, despite me having an appointment booked in advance. I ended up waiting around 30 minutes for a 15-minute soak off, which was disappointing.

I also only kept the nails on for one day because the product buildup was extremely thick and uncomfortable. My nails were actually hurting, and I felt like I needed to remove them immediately.

The designs and prices are good, and they are clearly talented at nail art, but based on my experience I’d just say not to go in with very high expectations regarding appointments or comfort.

I received excellent service at this nail salon today. Although I was initially concerned that I may be waiting a while, after about 10 minutes the staff recognised that I was waiting and turned their attention to me. Once started, the staff were both efficient and considerate throughout, demonstrating a high level of professionalism and skill. It is clear that they are exceptionally well trained by the owner–manager, who maintains outstanding standards of service when present.

It was a busier day and so the attention was very much appreciated.

Prices are in line with local competitors, yet the quality of service consistently exceeds expectations. I would highly recommend.

not had any problems before but quality seems to of dropped i hadn’t even had my nails on 4 days and one was hanging off not provoked it also has happened to the friend i went with, been just over a week and none of them are on im very disappointed especially because the price i paid

Been going here for almost 2 year now and I can say they are the best so welcoming so kind and always over achieve best shop in chesterfield

I read in the reviews about the children being loud and messing about but that’s just them being kids

Absolutely perfect nail salon! The staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional. Even though they were a bit busier than other nail salons I’ve been to before, they still took great care of me and made sure everything was done beautifully.

My nails turned out flawless and exactly how I wanted. The atmosphere is lovely and the team is so kind and attentive. I’m really happy with the service and will definitely be coming back. Highly recomm ❤️

Worst nail salon experience I’ve ever had.
I went in because my usual salon was closed and I needed my nails done urgently for an event. At first, I was pleased to be seated straight away (as you don’t get this in many places) — but that was the only positive part of the visit.
As soon as the staff started working on my nails, I noticed how dirty the salon was. The floor was covered in real and fake nail clippings, the worktops were full of dust and filings, and the equipment looked like it hadn’t been cleaned or replaced in years. I understand it was near the end of the day, but every other salon I’ve been to cleans up after each client, no matter how busy they are.

I also felt really uncomfortable. Staff were crowding around me, staring at my nails, and one person stood next to me with headphones in, loudly talking on the phone. I was passed between multiple staff members and had to repeat what I wanted each time, which didn’t give me any confidence that they understood what I’d asked for. There was only one staff member who was generally lovely and welcoming to me.

Then two of the staff’s children came in and started running around the salon, shouting and playing. At one point they were even picking up tools and rubbing them on people’s faces as a joke. I’ve worked with kids and I’m usually very tolerant, but when I go to get my nails done, I expect a relaxing and hygienic environment — this was the complete opposite.

By the time I left, it was dark, so I couldn’t properly see the result. The next morning I realised my nails looked like they’d been coloured in with a Sharpie. I went elsewhere to get them fixed.

After reading other reviews, it seems many people have had similar experiences. The salon has replied to some feedback, but in my opinion the responses come across as quite defensive. If the same issues keep being raised, they clearly need addressing. When a customer is polite, respectful, and clear about what they want, it shouldn’t be their fault when the service doesn’t meet basic standards.

My nails have always been amazing. Extremely friendly staff. Even wished me a happy Valentine’s Day as I left. Love coming here :)
