Absolutely the best nail shop in town! I highly recommend this place. The staff always take great care of you, are so polite and welcoming, and make you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. The new shop design looks amazing — modern, clean, and relaxing. Their prices are very fair and actually cheaper than most other places without compromising on quality. I always leave happy with my nails. Definitely worth visiting!

Firstly, don’t bother with one of the passive aggressive replies you give to commenters here.
Secondly, I have used this place on and off over the years. I stopped going before because staff are rude and clumsy, it’s basically a race to get as many customers done as possible with no thought on comfort. In previous years I have had them mess up simple designs and cause cuts and damage to my fingers. When they file down the sides of your nails to shape it is incredibly sharp and painful. I recently needed my nails done for an event and my new place wasn’t able to fit me in. So I went back to j nails as it had been years and hoped it had changed. I would argue it is worse. I asked for them not to use a particular tool on my hands (unsure of the name) because hen they used to use it I ended up with cuts in my hands due to the rough use and I was still a little anxious about that. The man got up in a huff and literally walked off and someone else had to come over to start my nail. Some parts of the nails wouldn’t stick so they used nail glue which I had to later pick out from under and around my nails. The nails looked fine, wasn’t perfect but I was happy enough with the look. Have had them on for two weeks so not too long but went to get them removed (somewhere else) and three of my natural nails are infected. Just don’t bother with it at this point. Again I’m not interested in excuses and snarky responses or the replies where you try to twist the truth. Customers beware.

I went on Monday to have gel polish changed because one nail was splitting. By Wednesday the polish had chipped, by Thursday the repaired split reappeared. Will not go again. Poor quality application, my nails feel rough around the edges & cut too short. More expensive than my usual nail salon in London.

Id give it zero stars if I could. Been going here for 2 years and they used to do a nice job. But not any longer.
I've gone in to have my acrylics removed and had them do it so quickly, leave bits on, no treatment for the nail and no clear polish after.
I've been CUT whilst they were cutting my natural nails before putting new ones. No apology, literally bleeding, paid full price.
The last time I went, I wanted to have a different design on one finger to the rest and was having trouble explaining due to language barrier. Another worker got up from the woman he was with, walked over to me and proceeded to scold me for the way I was explaining it. Very very rude. I left thinking that was the last straw. I went back in and explained why I was unhappy to the manager and left.
I should have learnt my lesson but I tried one last time today, wanted a mani/pedi with just my natural nails. It was busy so I waited about 20 minutes to get seated, that was ok...but then they took on 2 people who came after me, sat them down and started working on them while I was still waiting...after another 20 minutes. Finally wised up, they will get no more money from me, I walked out for the last time.
The women who used to work inside were great but they have all gone and the service with the men is just rubbish and has been for awhile. Save your money and your time.

I found staff very unhelpful and dismissive. I had a problem with my gel nails and was very disappointed with their response.Asked for owners number to complain but staff refused to give it to me. Certainly won't be using J Nails again.
