AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!! I’ve had to have my nails redone on 2 occasions as the nail tech had not done them properly. The paste they used had not been removed and it glued my skin to my nails which was painful. When I returned to the shop a day later to ask them to sort the problem out, they refused and blamed me for the problem. I had to argue with them before they agreed to fix it. On the second visit, I had had a French manicure done and on the same day I had my nails done, the varnish, paste and white tips, etc, had started to peel off the nail. At the time of the treatment, my nails were not under the uv lamp long enough, hence the varnish etc started peeling off within a few hours. As I am currently receiving cancer treatment which leaves me very unwell, I was only able to visit the nail bar two weeks after the tech had done my nails. I have been a client of the nail bar for nearly 3 years and the staff know me. I showed them how damaged my nails were and they were not too happy to fix the problem. After the tech started working on the damaged nails, I was then told to pay £5. I don’t have a problem paying £5, but I had not caused the damage and felt they were responsible and that they needed to fix it. It was only 3 nails. One staff member was rude and told me I should have phoned them. Firstly, the staff often do not answer their phone and secondly, there is a language barrier. I paid the £5 and told them I will no longer be returning. There are other good nail bars in Chester and I feel that the staff at this nail bar are rude and unhelpful!!! In response to the incorrect details the owner has given. I have only ever had Ombré done one. That was in July 2023. They were never re applied because my nails were done beautifully and I was happy with them. Do not put false information in your reply. Your reply is 100% incorrect!!! Customers need to be made aware of this!!!!!

Went for the first time today for holiday nails. Showed the young lady a picture and she did the exact design I shown her. I am never 100% satisfied when I get my nails done but this time I am, she nailed it. Will definitely be back.

Usually really like getting my nails done here but today I had a new person doing my nails so was very aggressive with the filing and cut all my fingers and they were bleeding. She didn’t clean them up and just carried on doing my nails even though they were bleeding with dust and paint going in them, which really hurt and is so unhygienic. When she finished they were still bleeding and still hadn’t cleaned it off and didn’t offer any money off due my nails being a mess.

After going to another place over the bridge in Hoole for almost a year I decided to try JK Nails and what a difference. My nails look perfect and exactly how I wanted them. All the staff are lovely, this will be my new go to place ❤️

Have been there twice, first time there was no issues and was satisfied with service. This time I have left very upset and cancelled my next appointment.
As my appointment stated I was only having shellac nails done, I did not think I had to clarify this and I was not asked to confirm what I was having done. My nails were since cut very short assuming I was having acrylics done which was not the case. I therefore just had to go with a neutral colour to try and minimise how bad they now look.
