I’ve been coming to this salon for around a year and a half now and my regular nail technician Daria is honestly fantastic, she's professional, talented and always welcoming. She’s a huge reason why I’ve remained a loyal customer for so long.

Unfortunately today’s experience felt noticeably different due to someone visiting from head office carrying out what appeared to be an audit. The atmosphere instantly became uncomfortable and, throughout my appointment, there were repeated dirty looks and a very cold, self-important attitude directed my way which felt completely unnecessary and quite honestly made me feel uncomfortable as a paying customer.

I fully appreciate that audits and standards are part of running a business, however customer experience should never be forgotten in the process. Loyal paying clients are ultimately what keep salons thriving and no customer should leave feeling judged or uncomfortable whilst simply sitting having their nails done.

Thankfully Daria remained lovely and professional throughout, as always!

I’ve just had the most beautiful gel manicure done by Kitty. She shaped my nails perfectly just how I asked and the finish of the gel was perfect. I’d definitely recommend Kitty and ask for her in future. Bonus that she’s also lovely to talk to whilst she’s doing your nails!

The staff and attitude are really friendly and great at the salon. I felt comfortable being there. For health reasons I don’t do gel manicure often anymore, so this was a special occasion for me. However first my nail chipped 5 days into the manicure. I went back for the repairs and in 2 weeks after the first manicure done my nails looked just like on the video. Obviously walking with such nails is a horrendous feeling. I think the materials for French are not great and the rush does not help. Slavic French lasts me much longer. I am disappointed.

Sorry I used to think so highly of Townhouse Wilmslow but not had a good experience today. My appointment was cancelled at half an hours notice after travelling an hour to get there. I have been a loyal customer for 2 years but customer service was terrible.No willingness to accommodate the customer or client any more . There does not seem to be as many staff or management.

Mum had a luxury manicure and pedicure today and it was fabulous. She is a little older and has been struggling with some confusion, but the staff were excellent. They made all the accommodations needed and made sure she was comfortable & safe throughout. Their communication with her was outstanding. So great to see that all clients of different abilities are welcomed. Even advised us what to book for next time to make it easier for her. Highly recommend.
