Thank you for brining this to our attention. We are deeply concerned by your account and take the safety and well being of all individuals - especially children extremely seriously, firstly, we want to sincerely apologise for any distress by what you witnessed. We understand how upsetting it must have been to see a young child in that situation, and we fully agree that the safety of minors should never be compromised under any circumstances.

While our policy does state that children cannot be in treatment areas for health and safety reasons, we recognise that it is absolutely unacceptable for any child to be left unattended outside the spa.

Our procedures for when a client arrives with a young child and no supervision is available, is that the appropriate action is to re-schedule the appointment and not to proceed while the child waits alone.

On this occasion the client stated to staff that she did not want to re schedule and the child would be supervised and was happy to proceed with the treatment.

We hope you’ll appreciate that our staff cannot fully ensure that children are supervised after leaving the spa with their parent /guardian.

There is CCT monitoring which covers the reception area and staff are aware of entry and exit at all times.

We truly appreciate you stepping in and taking the time to share this with us. Your concern may well have prevented something more serious, and for that we are generally grateful.
