After trying several nail places in town I decided to give Jo Alexandra a try and I was not disappointed. After nearly a year of having gel nails I am still so pleased every time I leave the salon. Paris does an exceptional job every time. Nothing is ever too much trouble and all the staff are friendly and welcoming. In addition my natural nails aren’t weak or discoloured. I couldn’t recommend them enough!!

I feel so bad leaving a bad review because I really liked the staff and atmosphere, and I was looking forward to going back to try some facials. I’m afraid the waxing wasn’t meticulous at all, and even after pointing out a few missed ones, I went home to find quite a few more. The mani and pedi were also another disappointment, they looked rather unprofessionally done in addition to a sore finger I was left with for the first two days of my holiday when a cuticle was too eagerly cut. I was rather disappointed when my hands were not soaked at all, I was expecting it for the pedicure as time was a constraint, but nothing was said about the manicure being anything less than a “proper manicure “, but I only found out when I enquired why she started cutting my cuticles without a soak, so that didn’t make me happy especially considering the price was definitely for a full mani:(
On a positive note, my manicure did last , the people working there are friendly and welcoming, and I managed to get the appointments quickly .

Sorry to leave a bad review but can't believe how my gel on my nails started coming off 5 days after I had them done... I've never had gel come off so quickly.
The lady told me it's called pro gel and it's the longest lasting gel but defo not!!

The best in town. They convinced me to try false nails to let mine grow and for the first time in 50 years I finally have beautiful finger nails and not ashamed of my ugly stumpy fingers. All the girls are lovely and welcoming.

Always very friendly and very welcoming, nothing is too much trouble. They do my nails beautifully, making them look so lovely and i have ugly nails but i can now proudly show them off. My nails have improved in both strength and look and i can't recommend highly enough

Rang this Tuesday as my normal beautician is now on maternity leave. Lovely ladies and Holly carried out a superb job on my refill classic lashes. See you again two weeks time. Highly recommended.
