Very disappointed with the service I received. I paid £35 for my nails and within just 5 days they already started coming off. I went back to the shop expecting at least an apology or some form of customer care, but instead the technician showed no remorse and was laughing about the situation.

Poor quality work and very unprofessional attitude. Customers work hard for their money and deserve respect and good service. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you want nails that actually last and staff that value their customers.

Discrimination against black people in the most obvious and direct way possible. Emily and David prefer not provide a service to black females and instead will rather take over a job from the other young man that works with them so that he can attend to black women. When white females walk in, they bend over backwards to cater to them like butlers. I have witnessed this on all four of my visits to this salon. I will never ever go here again. Shocking that people still lack education and exposure in 2025!

This nail shop can do nails, but the overall experience leaves a lot to be desired. The staff is often very low in number, and customers are frequently given inaccurate appointment times, which leads to unnecessary waiting.

I usually only go here because the location is convenient for me. However, if you’re like me — a woman who knows what she likes and refuses to settle for rushed, half-hearted work — this is not the place for you.

David in particular has made my visits uncomfortable. He often makes inappropriate comments, from calling me “sexy” to asking if I have a boyfriend, which is unprofessional. Quite frankly, I believe David is racist. As a Black woman, I’ve noticed he is consistently standoffish and rude to me.

Yesterday was the final straw. I went in to get my toes done and David handled my foot roughly. After I politely asked him to take a little more off, he swept up the excess from the floor and deliberately put the dustpan in my face, as if to “show me” how much came off. This felt unnecessarily rude, childish, and unprofessional.

I have had similar uncomfortable experiences here in the past, but this was the last time I’ll ever go. I will not spend my money to receive a rushed, half-hearted service, nor will I be made to feel wrong for wanting any changes made to my nails. It’s not right.

Frankly, it’s a mess .. and if you are black, I strongly advise you not to go here.

I’ve been going to K&M for a few months now, and my nails have never looked better. Emily and David are incredibly welcoming and talented—they can recreate just about any nail design I bring in. The location is super convenient, and they always do their best to fit me in. Sometimes I choose to come back rather than wait, but honestly, it’s a testament to how good they are that they’re always busy. Highly recommend!

Absolutely terrible job on pedicure.
Firstly agreed price on telephone at £35.00 once she had completed nails she said £38.00 told me I'm getting a discount at £38 which is a lie.

The French Tips was not in straight line, toe nail was half done, 2 days after more tip paint came off.

Not sure how this place is still going.

Emily and David are the KINDEST most welcoming people! 1st class service! The offer of tea and coffee, lovely conversation, care and beautiful job!
Emily did a beautiful natural Biab on my friend Louise, and David did my infills, both followed by a hand massage!
I’ve booked my mum in for her Biab infills on Monday and I can’t wait for her to meet them and have the same experience we have had today! We have now decided to stick with these guys and not go back to our usual salon.
