I had a piercing done here in April and have emailed Crisp studio a few times regarding this and haven’t received any response whatsoever.
My Medusa piercing has had a bump at the base of the piercing that hasn’t gone away since I had it done. I had this looked over by a different piercer who determined that the bump will most likely never go away because it is there due to friction from the piercing being done incorrectly. My piercing has been pierced completely at an angle when it should be straight. I’m really disappointed by Crisp that I have heard nothing in response to my emails, especially as I was a loyal customer for a few years (getting my hair done) . The prices of the piercings are quite expensive and I expected it to be done correctly. I would not recommend getting a piercing done here.

I would rather cut my own hair than have nearly £60 taken from my card even though I’d given notice 24 hours before via I could not make my appointment Then having to put up with the patronising tone of ‘Ellen’ . A pathetic excuse (she didn’t get the message because the manager was out.) Don’t give them access to your credit card. Don’t go here.

I came into Crisp to have a piercing put back in. I was advised by the receptionist that this would be fine and was booked to come back the following day. However, when I arrived, the piercer asked what information I needed, and after I explained, she immediately said she was unable to do it due to where the piercing was located. She asked when it had come out and did not even look at it before making a decision.

I felt that my time was completely wasted. I was given an appointment for something they couldn't actually do. I don't understand why I was booked in if it wasn't possible. It seems clear that all staff should have at least some basic training or knowledge about piercings so they can give accurate information.

I later went to another piercing studio who were shocked that I had been turned away, especially since my piercing had only partially healed (around 30%) and the hole was still open and visible.

While I understand that every studio may have their own policies, it’s important that all staff are properly informed to avoid wasting customers' time. Very disappointed with my experience.
