I went to Nails by Linh and paid £55 + tip for a very basic acrylic set. At the appointment, everything looked okay under the salon lighting and pressure of being asked on the spot, but once I got home and properly looked at them, I noticed the acrylics were extremely thick, uneven, and had a noticeable duck shape.

I messaged the nail tech on WhatsApp a few hours later asking if I could come back for a small fix, which most salons are usually happy to accommodate. Instead, I was told no because my nail “could break” (not true they’re super thick) and because I didn’t speak up about it in the salon. When I insisted on them being corrected, I was told it would cost another £37 just to put the SAME gel colour because I said I liked the colour in the salon.

Really disappointing experience, especially after already paying a lot for nails I’m genuinely unhappy with. A little professionalism and willingness to correct the work would have gone a long way.

I got my nails done by Nana and she did an incredible job ✨ super kind, accommodating and great attention to detail ; making sure I was happy with the colours and design as she went on . I felt confident from the beginning that she could achieve exactly what I wanted - I’ve found my new favourite nail spot 💅🏽 Thank you 💝

It’s been over 2 years since I’ve been at Lin 💅 the place used to be good but after been dismissive and disrespectful to me and my daughters we decided to leave,
Prices went up and up service went down and down place has bad energy and vibes
The area is full with good and clean alternatives so…take my review as a correction action …you need the customer more then they need you 🤷‍♀️
I guess the reason for this wired made up reply is being desperate for clients 🫣
Anyway I’m colored myself and has an accent too hahaha 😆
