I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately my experience fell short both in quality and overall service.

My gel manicure didn’t last. Multiple nails started peeling within a couple of days, and had lifted or come off. I was later told that an e-file is 100% necessary to prevent this, but that isn’t true and hasn’t been my experience at other salons in London (e.g. Shoreditch Nails, Townhouse) or back home in Canada, where gel manicures have lasted much longer without issue.

More concerning, though, was the atmosphere during the appointment. The technician seemed visibly frustrated at times—sighing when I accidentally smudged a nail or when I asked about changing my French tip colour. It made me feel quite anxious and uncomfortable, to the point where I didn’t feel at ease communicating what I wanted and just wanted the appointment to be over.

What stood out even more was another client sitting beside me who appeared to be experiencing similar treatment. She became so upset that she started crying and asked not to be spoken to that way. While the tone improved after that, it shouldn’t have gotten to that point for either of us.

To the salon’s credit, a repair/discount was offered. However, given both the poor longevity of the manicure and the overall experience, I didn’t feel comfortable returning.

There is a nice, busy atmosphere in the salon, which suggests it’s popular. But for me, getting my nails done should feel relaxing, and unfortunately this wasn’t that experience.

For that price point, go elsewhere that are cleaner, friendlier, and more professional IMO.

Leon the owner of the nail shop is so welcoming and the staff are efficient and always do a wonderful job on my nails.

Hanna did an amazing job! Would definitely recommend her. I have been going there for a while. Their service just impeccable. Also, they are pet friendly. It’s so nice to bring Winston with me to the pedicure.
