I have been coming here for the past 4 years. They are amazing. The boss is always in high spirits and ready to greet you with a smile, the girls who offer the beauty services are extremely thorough, insightful and friendly, they help to make you feel comfortable and at ease - which is essential. I started my laser hair removal journey with them and continued on with them throughout the years. I have had great results, I would advise you to stay consistent with the services for the best possible outcome. I cannot recommend this place highly enough and I have gone on to recommend it to friends, family members and colleagues!
I’ve received exceptional service at this clinic. My laser sessions have been excellent and I’ve already seen great results. The staff are very skilled, professional, and always make me feel comfortable. The clinic is clean, well organised, and appointments run smoothly. Highly recommend!
Best laser, i ever had ! The service is amazing, good price, lovely place, they are very organised and always on time. That’s why I keep coming back and highly recommend.
Very good service during treatments, the ladies at reception will do their best to accommodate all bookings
I had an amazing experience very clean place freindly staff and prices are fair im very happy and i recommend this place
My experience with laser hair removal at Queensway Spa Boutique was extremely disappointing and unprofessional.
I completed three full-body laser cycles (approximately 18–22 sessions) over nearly two years and did not see the expected results. The treatment intensity was only increased after I repeatedly complained that I wasn’t seeing improvement and could not feel anything during the sessions. This raises serious concerns about whether the treatments were performed appropriately from the beginning.
Booking appointments was consistently difficult as they were always fully booked. However, the most unacceptable issue was how my rescheduling and refund request were handled.
On 18 January 2025, I called to reschedule my appointment due to work commitments. The receptionist clearly told me not to cancel the appointment in the system, assured me there would be a cancellation before 2 February, and promised they would call me with a new appointment. I specifically asked them to leave a note with my details, and they confirmed this was done.
I never received any call. When I contacted them on 2 February 2025, I was told my appointment had been cancelled and that it was my responsibility. This directly contradicted what I had been told. No accountability was taken for their failure to follow their own instructions.
In particular, one blonde receptionist I dealt with repeatedly refused to take responsibility for these mistakes. Instead of acknowledging the clear miscommunication, she consistently shifted the blame onto me and avoided addressing the points I raised, which made resolving the issue unnecessarily stressful and frustrating.
I then requested a refund for the prepaid service. Instead of resolving the issue professionally, I was told to contact the owners myself. I contacted them multiple times, specifically in April 2025 and again in June 2025, and each time they avoided responsibility, stating they no longer owned the business and redirecting me back to the salon. After months of chasing, inconvenience, and wasted time, they still refused to issue a refund and simply offered to proceed with the appointment.
The lack of results, poor communication, refusal to take responsibility, and unprofessional handling of a paid service made this an extremely negative experience. Considering the significant amount of money I spent over this long period of time, the outcome and the way I was treated were completely unacceptable. I would not recommend this clinic.
Paid for laser, had a suicide death in the family and I just wasn’t functioning. After beginning to get to terms with tragedy, I contacted the company to use the courses I bought, but was told they expired. I didn’t even know they had expiry dates.
I explained what happened and offered to show proof but they offered only one session as good will, I had over 10 remaining.
Very disappointing company.
They've been always wonderful - and accommodating, even when I had a delay with an appointment due to personal circumstances - the team has been understanding, professional and kind, highly recommended! (Laser treatment)
There is a reason it's cheap for laser and offers Groupons and other discounts - it's just a way to get you to buy a package then tell you you need more sessions. They are operating a volume business. I had several technicians say 18-32 sessions would be needed (!)
I had very poor results here from laser, with almost no hair reduction after 6 sessions. I've had better results with an at-home IPL machine. I can only assume they're keeping settings weak on aging machines to ensure very slow/limited results.
I also didn't enjoy having a different staff member every single time with no ability to request one. Some really were not good, taking no time on areas and ignoring any concerns raised. I had a very rude older woman with orange hair who dismissed my query about the results and gave a very incorrect explanation of how laser works (for some reason they obsessively say you can't shave between sessions, which isn't true - what difference would that make on a laser treatment which works on the hair follicles?). They use this as an excuse for why it's not working.
Note: after laser, treated hair should fall out in 7-14 days. Some will grow back and some won't, depending on growth stage. This is why you go over a period of time. Here, I had very limited shedding, showing their settings were insufficient to treat the area.
Avoid this place for laser and go somewhere more reputable.
Love them very reasonably priced too
Rudest customer service
I’ve had 18 laser hair removal sessions in total at boutique spa, spaced every 6 to 8 weeks as recommended and followed all instructions as I genuinely wanted the laser to work.
During the sessions, I noticed only a slight reduction in hair growth and was reassured to keep going as I have thick dark hair so it would work. Even after raising concerns around the 10th session, I was told I just needed more treatments.
Unfortunately, 2 months after finishing my sessions, all the hair has grown back and it’s worse than before (especially on my face where I hadn’t shaved prior to treatment). My sister-in-law had the same experience after two years of sessions here.
The machines clearly need upgrading, and staff quality varies a lot.
Sadly, I can’t recommend them for hair removal and I’m disappointed to have wasted my money and time.
