I’ve been going to Jenny’s Nails for years, but unfortunately I don’t think that will be the case anymore.

While I’ve often been happy with how my nails turned out, I’ve never truly felt welcomed or enjoyed the experience. I continued going purely because I appreciated the skill involved and the final results. However, I’m no longer willing to put up with treatment that doesn’t feel right or respectful.

My most recent appointment was the final straw. Multiple technicians worked on my nails, I was cut during the prep process due to rushing, and the design I provided wasn’t followed correctly. Altogether, it made me feel undervalued as a client rather than someone whose time and comfort mattered.

On top of that, I was initially told my nails would cost £42. When I asked to use the student discount they advertise, the price suddenly increased to £45. Taking advantage of students in this way is extremely disappointing and, frankly, unacceptable. That alone made me uncomfortable continuing to give my money to this business.

If the company sees this, I genuinely hope it’s taken as constructive criticism. Please listen and reflect on how you treat your clients.

Appointments are routinely overbooked, and booked clients are not prioritised. If you have a 3pm appointment but someone walks in at 2:55, you’re often left waiting 20 minutes or more past your appointment time while they’re served first. No client should have to wait that long when they’ve booked ahead. If I book for 3pm, I expect to be seated at 3pm — not waiting nearly an hour because you’ve taken on more clients than you can handle.

For a service that costs over £40, this level of disregard is extremely disappointing. I’ve never had my nails done anywhere else, but I’ve now realised that I shouldn’t have to tolerate this kind of treatment.

I’ve even been hit with nail files just to get my attention — which is completely inappropriate. A simple “excuse me” would suffice.

I truly hope you take this feedback on board. Clients — especially young, teenage girls — should never be made to feel rushed, ignored, or taken advantage of.

THE BEST!! always do wonders on my nails😍😍 so friendly and flexible. i had transport issues yesterday and they were so understanding and helpful and made sure i still got my nails done even though i kept them waiting!! wouldn’t go anywhere else

My go-to nail salon - I’ve been coming to for years now! The team are so friendly and welcoming. I am happy with my nails every time + the prices are so reasonable! Definitely recommend 🌷💅🏻

I had been going to this place regularly for the past 18 months and have no criticism on the quality of the work, although some techniciansare better than others.
It is very busy, so in an attempt to avoid a long wait I booked appointments.
I was very rarely seen on time and frequently kept waiting for half an hour.
When I last attended, I had booked time off work, paid for parking only to be told, unapologetically, that they had made a mistake with my booking. If this was the 1st time, I can accept mistakes can happen but this was the 3rd time my appointment was not honored. I really think booked appointments should be prioritised over walk-ins. Following the last occasion, I have found another salon

Friendly staff and great service with good communication about times and styling throughout the appointment. I have very short nails with a history of biting, super understanding and no judgement whatsoever.
Really happy with my nails before my holiday!

Been to a few nail salons in Worthing and Brighton, and Jenny's Nails is by far the best. I have tried gel, BIAB and SNS here, and I get exactly what I asked for every time. The staff are also very friendly and always help me find the colour I'm looking for. My best french tip was also from here too. HIGHLY recommend!!
