Absolutely AVOID AVOID AVOID this dirty disgraceful place. Cheap products brought off tik tok shop and was telling how she buys them cheap .....
How this shop is still running and open is beyond me. Dirty, unclean and rude staff.
About 10 women and girls in the shop, a baby also on the premises, often the girls taking it in turns to hold the baby and walk it around the shop whilst it is crying and screaming, not exactly a nice relaxing environment to get ur nails done. Also it seems their living in the back room which didnt seem right....
I wanted a full set and was booked in. I waited over an hour and 20minutes to be seen despite booking, then the lady kept getting up walking around with the baby whilst doing my nails. Left all the skin around my nails cut and infected. Went to another shop this morning to get them taken off as their tools and products are unhygienic and dirty. Little do they realise i had a translation app on my phone running and have the entire conversation of them being racist to an elderly Jamaican lady who came in... if u visited the shop on Friday 1st may between 4/6pm they was talking about you and it is honestly awful. Been going here for years. All the comments about attitude and atmosphere need to be carefully considered as I have been witness to some awful customer behaviour. I have never had a bad set of nails and as someone who has an allergy to most mainstream gel polish, I have never had an allergic reaction to what they use either.
The owner, her husband and daughters are lovely and when you get to know them they cannot do enough for you. Respect is a two-way street.
They will always be extremely honest with you about the design you might want and the shape of nail that will suit your hands - to some people this might be offensive - but I prefer their advice. If you are looking for a service that tells you, you are right all the time don’t go here.

I had a really crap experience at Hollywood Nails and will not be returning and advise anyone who is wishing to get their nails done not to book…

I had booked an appointment in advance earlier on in the day, but despite that I was left waiting while the technician continued to take and work on over clients in between doing my nails! It felt extremely disorganised and disrespectful of my time.

The woman who was doing my nails was extremely rude and made insulting remarks which made me uncomfortable and made the experience unprofessional. She suggested that I “should go somewhere else” while my nails were half done, which I would have if I wasn’t on a timed schedule.

Overall, very poor customer service and a lack of basic respect for paying customers. I would NOT recommend anyone to go to this salon.

My girlfriend came back distraught and nearly in tears after going to this unprofessional nail shop, i had waited in the car for over 3 hours to which i then decided to go into the shop to see what the situation was, my girlfriends hands were half done and no one was attending to finish her nails, once i raised the concerns the very rude little owner told me to get out of her shop and that it was not my concern of how she should run the business, we left the shop with my girlfriends nails half done & without paying as the service was diabolical, we went to felicia nails after and they sorted us out within the hour

I had a really disappointing experience at Hollywood Nails. I booked an appointment, yet still had to wait, which completely defeats the purpose of booking in advance. My feet were left soaking for over an hour before anyone even started on my nails, which is simply unacceptable.

To make matters worse, the technician began working on my hands and then stopped midway to start on another customer. This felt extremely unprofessional and disrespectful of my time.

When I politely raised my concerns, the owner responded very rudely, telling me not to come back and asking if I even wanted her to finish, while suggesting I should be grateful she “fitted me in.” She also went on to say my hands are fat therefore the style I wanted wouldn’t suit me! This level of customer service is shocking and completely inappropriate.

Overall, the service was disorganised, unprofessional, and lacked basic respect for customers. I would not recommend this salon to anyone. If I could give zero stars, I would.

I also feel it’s worth mentioning that there appeared to be an underage girl working there, which raises serious concerns.

I have been using this service for many years, but after today’s experience I am completely disgusted with how I was treated.

I had 1 hour and 15 minutes available and asked if they could do a manicure and pedicure. I was told no, but agreed to just have my hands done as there was no one else in the shop at the time. Partway through my appointment, two women arrived claiming they had bookings, although the staff initially seemed unaware of this and asked them to wait.

However, halfway through doing my nails, the technician stopped my treatment and began attending to the other customers. I explained that I was in a rush and had already communicated my time constraints, but I was spoken to rudely by the daughter and repeatedly talked over by the mother.

This was completely unprofessional. If there were appointments scheduled, they should not have started my service in the first place. I raised this concern, along with the staff’s poor attitude, but it was not handled appropriately.

They eventually completed my nails, but did so with clear hostility. The entire experience was unpleasant and uncomfortable. At no point did they apologise or show any understanding—in fact, their behaviour came across as aggressive and patronising.

It’s very disappointing to see how far the customer service has declined in what was once a popular business. I would not recommend visiting, what is supposed to be an enjoyable experience was extremely stressful and unpleasant

After being a customer for over a year, I had infills and gel last week (Monday 10th feb 2025) , only to have my cuticles over filed (not sure what to call it) woke the next day with 4 of my nails extremely sore (see image) and now receiving medical treatment. Needless to say I won’t be back. This was done by the lady in charge ( the owner) really disappointed. If it wasn’t for work commitments and it being the opposite way home, I would have called in to show them. Think twice before going. Clearly no sterilization used. Be wary.

Update: have a serious infection and now taking antibiotics.

So me and my sister in law walked and they were nice at first and then when we sat down we were waiting ages for them to start and then when they started they kept leaving us half way through our nails and then the owner kept pulling my hands really hard towards her and then she said to my sister in law that he nails were to long when they weren’t and then she said that my sister in law does nothing and they were being very rude and aggressive and the owner grabbed my phone and threw it along the table but I still Carried on being nice and then the owner and a colleague were pointing at my sister in law and laughing and talking about her in there own language making us feel uncomfortable I would not recommend going here at all

VILE & ABUSIVE CUSTOMER SERVICE! STAY AWAY & KEEP YOUR KIDS AWAY!! REPORT THIS COMPANY!!!!
The owner continuously cut my fingers with the file until they bled, and when I brought it to her attention, she screamed at me and became aggressive, saying that it was my fault she cut me and to pass her my hands so she can ‘rip my nails back off’ and to ‘get out of her shop’ whilst she aggressively charged towards me waving a nail clipper in my face. Her behaviour was abusive!!! I agreed to pay and left out of genuine fear as I was the last customer left in the shop - I was absolutely terrified, and traumatised by her threats. Not to mention that the actual nails themselves have been rushed! Absolutely vile behaviour!! Should be closed down.
