DO NOT TRUST MEHTAB WITH YOUR HAIR!!!
I never leave reviews but I really have to this time.. i called this salon for a dry cut.. mehtab had calls from the salon on albert road diverted to her mobile phone and I asked if she could fit me in for a trim and she said yes come down... I assumed it was albert road I had to go but she said " no it's not at the salon its on lea hall road "
Which is her home address...I felt odd having to travel to someone's home because ive never done this before so I got a taxi and took my daughter with me.
When we arrived she let us in to a side extension on her house which had a bed, 2 tables and 2 chairs..
The brushes on the tables were clogged with hair from previous customers / victims of hers.
I sat down and then I asked how much a simple dry cut would cost.. she said to take a few inches off my hair it was £30
As I was already there and after paying a taxi to get me there I thought ok, I'm here and if she does a good job then id pay. ( my usual hairdressers in Erdington only charge me £15...
Anyway she started chopping off my hair, didn't use a water spray as most hairdressers do and in a few mins all my hair was on the floor and she said that's it ive finished.. I could only see the front of my hair at that point which looked ok and she never offered a mirror behind me to show the back.
Anyways she requested I pay her by bank transfer so that's what I did..
I got home and when my partner looked at the back of my hair I couldn't believe it.. mehtab had completely messed my hair up.. it was uneven and all different lengths..
As I couldn't see it, he took photos to show me and I was furious.. I called her and demanded my money back because there's no way I wanted to have paid someone to make me look like id had a lawnmower over my head... on the phone she refused to refund me and said my hair is like it is because I have naturally curly hair!!
Apparently she's been qualified since 2005 ( no chance ) 🙄
...anyway on the phone we argued for about 20 minutes with her giving me every excuse as to why my hair turned out as it did and then she even put her 15 year old daughter on the phone to argue with me... in the end after quite a few harsh words and me having to threaten to take it further I was given £15 of my money back when it should have all been refunded. This woman is a absolute disgrace and is no way qualified to ne let loose on peoples hair... be warned do not trust her.
And mehtab if you read this, I am contacting trading standards about you and showing them the photos which I have put with this review..
There is no way your qualified and I'm sure you'll be investigated.
If anyone else has got this far with this review and have had similar experiences I encourage you to also leave a review to warn people.
Make up your own mind by the photos if this is the work of a qualified hairdressers.

My hair was damaged.. in fact she put bleach on and it burnt my hair. Refuses to compensate and in a result she bloody changed her mobile number!

Doesn’t know what she is doing AVOID!!!!
