Highly recommend Kayleigh! She is such a lovely person and make you feel so welcome. I really wasn’t sure what to do with my hair and didn’t go with any inspo pics. I said to Kayleigh what I would like but I said do whatever you think is best and omg the results! She done a fantastic job on my hair and can’t thank her enough and she made me fall in love with my hair again 💗

Quite honestly the worst haircut I've had in my entire life. Asked for a blunt mid neck bob, with light thinning in the back (it gets thick back there). The salon owner either chose not to listen or just thought she knew better. I said several times 'hair jumps up when dried', 'light thinning in the back', 'long layer at most'. I have a haphazard bowlcut on top of a bob which is going to take months to grow out. It's not even long enough to tie back or style to hide the atrocities. The layers she decided to chop (literally chop) into my hair are random and disconnected, even on the same slice it varies with longer and shorter pieces hacked in. The audacity to suggest that I need tape extensions to thicken my sides was next level delulu. Should have taken the booking system error as a sign from the hair gods 🙃

First time visiting Lipstick and Locks and I would 100% recommend! I had an appointment with the lovely Kayleigh who was so welcoming from the moment I arrived and instantly made me feel at ease. The salon is beautiful too! Kayleigh really took the time to get to know me and understand how I wanted my hair. I went in for a wash, cut and blow dry but mentioned I wanted to discuss colour options as my blonde hair was fading and grey is appearing! Kayleigh was so knowledgeable and talked me through various options. It was such a positive experience which you definitely don’t always get at other local salons.
Kayleigh is the queen of a curly blow dry! I didn’t know it was possible for my thin hair to achieve such volume, she really transformed my hair and made me feel amazing! I already can’t wait for my next appointment. Thank you Kayleigh!

My sisters and I came for hair and make-up before my wedding ceremony in October having had such a good experience at the salon for my sisters wedding last year.

The girls who did the hair were great (nailed the brief!) and so lovely too.

The make-up artist (so sorry I have forgotten name!!) was also fantastic, she knew exactly how to get the subtle look I was after. She also went the extra mile and lent me a product in case I needed reapplying long into the evening.
