Professional and efficient. I have visited twice now for male waxing; the first time two very polite and chatty girls tended to me. I felt like a prince. The second time was great and the beautician is so kind and caring and loves to chat and made me feel at ease. To those reading reviews about being covered in wax, my body and clothing was well protected from drips of wax by tissue and towels. The only thing I noticed which wasn't 100% was wax on the floor making it sticky. Some cleaning is needed! Will be going back soon. Thank you!

Edit: Yakushi have lied in their response. I did not receive a full refund. I paid for part of this treatment, after wasting nearly 2 hours in their salon.

Very disappointing experience at Yakushi. Staff seemed inexperienced, as per some previous reviews. Go elsewhere to get your lashes done or a wax.

I booked an LVL lash lift and really wish I hadn’t. I’ve had a dozen lash lifts before and it was clear the lady doing my lashes had never done one before. After over an hour, my lashes were poker straight. They didn’t charge me which is fine but didn’t offer to rectify the issue. I’m booked my lashes before a big holiday so I’m left disappointed.

I also booked a Hollywood wax which I would not recommend. They use strip wax (!) for 90% of the job so it’s unnecessarily painful. Like another reviewer has said, the job was quite patchy and I was left with wax residue on me.

I have been to Yakushi for over 5 years now and they are fantastic. Everything is always well organised and clean. On the weekend I had Rose do my waxing, she made me feel really comfortable as always and removed all my hair with minimum pain. She always doubles checks and makes sure there’s no hair left behind and even uses tweezers to get out any ingrowns.

I have been to Yakushi salon a few times to get my lash extensions and my eyebrows waxed and tinted. I have always been happy with the results, the staff especially Hetty are always lovely and professional, the salon is pretty and clean. I have been having my eye on some other services as well, highly recommend

We had a massage. We asked for med to firm pressure. It was not that. It was lite brushing. The studio was clean, well maintained. Well furnished. The technicians were polite and nice. They do more esthetician type things. Not massage.

Highly recommend this salon for waxing. I’ve had two hollywoods here and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. I had courtney and she made me feel very comfortable and she’s lovely to chat too and very gentle. Highly suggest this place if you’re looking to get a wax.
