I've been going to Ruby's nail for years now, I've always been extremely happy with every set they've done for me. All the staff are lovely and make you feel welcome. Especially Annie, every design I want she makes it happen! Thank you Annie for another amazing design today.

Absolutely horrible customer service

I phoned and asked how much an acrylic set would be. Was told 40 with colour, perfect.

Went in, the man did not do any nail prep.no pushing back the cuticle or anything like that, just straight in with the acrylic, which is suppost to be a nude pink. Bright pink btw. He then asked me to show him a photo, which I did. A cute design with a few moons and stars, nothing crazy. He said no, because my nails are too short. Never been a problem before but fair enough. Showed him a different design. Said okay, but because it is a design I will have to pay £60. Sixty great British pounds. Mind you, it was 2 colours. I explained the woman on the phone told me it would be 40. Laughed and said no. Well it was too late to say no, he had already started. I then said OK, just do French tips, because I was fustated and just wanted to get out of there. He then proceeds to give me wonky, thin French tips on this bright pink base.

So, I left and paid. Went home and decided I just wanted them off, I genuinly hated them. Went back in, and now a woman was there. Spoke to her, and said i wasnt happy and explained what happened and needed them off, she said no, there is no time today. Right, okay, fair enough. I asked for a refund then, and I'll be on my way. she scoffed and said she doesn't do refunds, come back tomorrow and I can PAY to have them removed.

Rude staff and horrible customer service. Came in wanting a cute little set, with muted colours, left with wonky bright pink French tip, with no refund or any sympathy. Go somewhere else, this is a joke

I don’t get my nails done often but when I do I always come to rubys, they are always friendly and do a great job. The last 2-3 times I’ve been, I’ve been noticeably pregnant and they make sure to accommodate me appropriately and have been quick doing my nails. I’ve never had any complaints or problems in the 6 ish years I’ve been coming here

Got my nails done 30 January and the women was very rude as I couldn’t understand what she said I had a male do my nails he had his kid in the back up down up down yes it’s your child but half way doing my nails … less then 2 weeks my nails are now peeling and he pushed my cuticles back but never cut them ?

NOT SATISFIED VERY POOR QUALITY WORK DONE BY THE MAN TECH. I went there very randomly without appointment ask if they had time they were very kind said yes come sit. After the Bulgarian girl started to do my nails no cuticle pushed and removed just glued tips which I didn't like how short she cut them anyway she asked me what acrylic i wanted and I choose the colour. Then a very rude men walked to do the acrylic on my nails and he changed the actual colour i wanted of the acrylic to a very pink one whick doesn't suit my skin colour.As i didn't like the colour of the acrylic i asked the men to put me colour on top and he responded very rudely "if you wanted colour you should have said so i put to you the clear acrylic" like i know what he is supposed to do. He didn't even file my nails properly as you can see in the pictures then he walked away. The Bulgarian girl came to finish the nails and I asked her very kindly please can you file correctly my nails she look at the guy with like fear and ignored me and started showing me colours. I chose the colour and asked again to file them properly as the nail polish wasn't staying good on the nails and the girl next to her doing nails responded your nails are very small this need to be thick to look better. And I just got upset let her finish the nails so I can leave. Paid 35£ for this job.
Plus when you walk in they make you wash your hands like you have any desiese when their nails look ugly especially the man's nails disgusting 🫣.

I arrived at Ruby’s Nails at 5:25 pm, with the shop clearly advertised as open until 6:00 pm - the door was open and I asked for a very small service (three false nails on one hand).
I was told that if there are no customers or bookings, they close earlier. I explained that I was in fact a customer, standing there and requesting the service, but was still refused. There was no notice displayed about bookings being required at that time.
Disappointing experience.

Absolutely amazing nail salon. I visited ruby nails for the first time today with my little girl on her 3rd birthday. She is very girly and wanted her nails done - they made her experience extra special and definitely one to remember for us both. She came out made up and with the perfect sparkly glittery princess nails. They really did go out of their way to make it fun for her and even gave her a bottle of pink nail polish as a birthday gift.

I wish more nail salons were like this in Southampton.

Amazing customer service!!!! I had an emergency on a chipped nail. No one in town wanted to help and I was ready to give up. Stepped in this shop and was rescued by a sweet lady. Thank you so much 💓 💗
Turned my chip into a flower and I am very happy. Do waist your time on some of those other uppity nail salons. Give Ruby Nails a try!!
