I went here a while ago and the memory of this place has kept in my memory. The last review I gave didn’t give justice to how awful visiting this salon was.

I had a booking but when I arrived the place was absolutely packed and I had to wait for my appointment. I had gels on and needed a take off and reapplication. They did the initial soak and when they started redoing the first nail I wasn’t happy and asked them for more white (was getting ombré). They re did that first nail and just done exactly the same so I restated I wanted it more white. When they did the exact same again, I just looked at them wondering how to communicate since they probably weren’t understanding?

The staff gathered round, bear in mind the salon was full and some of them had to literally stop serving their customer. One of them started shouting at me, I was absolutely taken back and had no idea what to do. I just got up and left and my nails were a state.

I’d describe this experience as nothing short of horrifying to be honest, it made everyone in that salon feel awkward. I hope their staff are now trained and know how to handle customer relations.

My daughter had a set of nails for £45. Within 3 days 3 had fallen off and others were badly discoloured. I gave an extra star as although they refused my daughter a refund they did agree to fix them.
The yellow nail was actually ‘nude’.

I have never left a bad review before as having a business myself it feels dreadful and you wish the customer had been able to say at the time but unfortunately I didn’t feel able to.
I booked for a biab infill, over the phone I was not informed that it would have to be a cash payment or even when I arrived.
I had one broken nail so the others nails needed cutting to match, unfortunately it was done too short and the man who was doing my nails electric filed the end of my fingers. I also asked for square round tips but I have ended up with odd shapes filed so short my fingers are sore and have so much gel stuck under them that they were stuck to the skin . I have had to try and remove this myself as it has made my fingers even more painful.
When it was finally finished I went to pay, I took out my card only to be told quite abruptly that they wanted cash. As I didn’t have any I was told I would have to leave my phone and go to the cash point.
When I said I didn’t want to leave my phone I was told I would have to leave something.
I ended up leaving my watch but I was left feeling incredibly uncomfortable and with painful raw peeling fingertips!
This was the first and last time I shall go to Chi Chi nails.

I popped in here for nail infills whilst in the area and was extremely disappointed. Too much pressure was used with the electric file, and my nails hurt. They were uneven lengths, rather thick, and had rough overhangs. I went back half an hour later to get more lumps filed out. At £35 it was a poor job for the money.

The staff here are usually quite good however I recently went for a pedicure + gel nails and I left with a bleeding cuticle and the lady had somehow also tore all the skin at the end of one of my other toes.
This was left very sore and red for a few days.
Once I got home and realised why my toes felt so sore, I sent them a reasonable message on Facebook (where I’ve had a response from them previously re bookings/designs etc), and they never got back to me.

Had acrylic nails done here, they were so rough with my nails, causing me to bleed a lot. Drilled hard into my nails leaving deep indents at the base of every natural nail. Very thickly applied acrylic too. No apology or money off the service.

Very dishonest nail salon. Charged me £5 more than usual and the nail colour is not even the one I want. Definitely not recommended!
