Amazing customer service (especially Aaliyah)!!

I was greeted with a smile by the staff which was a great first impression. I was browsing around the shop looking for curl products and I needed help looking for them. I asked where the curl products were and Aaliyah politely showed me to the right direction. Now Superdrug has a huge variety of products and it does seem overwhelming however, I picked a couple out and went to the till. Whilst it was being scanned I asked Aaliyah if these products were the right type for the style I was going for and she told me I made a great choice (which is amazing to hear) and how the brand “being” was the perfect brand to use especially for my hair type. She told me how it says on the top left which hair type it is suitable for and it was my hair type. Aaliyah is very knowledgeable in the products and I’m sure all the other staff are aswell. She informed me that I had some Superdrug points available to use and it would take off a couple of pounds from my purchase which was even better. After I paid for the products I asked her if it was okay for me to return it to a different store just in case and she told me the refund policy and explained it in terms that didn’t seem overwhelming. I also wanted to try some perfume and she is very knowledgeable in the perfumes. I was very intrigued in a couple and she explained the difference between EDT and EDP which does help for future purchases.

All in all I am very happy with the customer service I have received from Aaliyah at Superdrug. Please ensure that Aaliyah is recognised for her professionalism and efforts for my experience at Superdrug. I have nothing but positive feedback from myself to the welcoming staff and most definitely Aaliyah.

Came in to superdrug to buy some shaving foam and look for mascara and i was being stated at weirdly by some employee, when i left the shop because I couldn’t find what I needed, I was wrongfully accused of stealing even after showing all my pockets, all because they misheard what i said to my boyfriend. I understand they were just being cautious, but they spoke very rudely and unprofessionally and would not admit they were in the wrong. The shop itself is lovely, but they need to work on who they hire.

I had a really disappointing experience at the Superdrug in Serpentine Green, Peterborough.

I went in already feeling stressed and just needed to quickly find the travel-size items. There was only one store assistant on the shop floor serving at the till, so I politely said, “Excuse me, please, do you know where the travel stuff is?” Without properly acknowledging me, she abruptly said, “I’m serving somebody,” in a rude and dismissive tone.

I fully understand she was with a customer — that’s not the issue. It was the attitude. A simple “I’ll be with you in a moment” or even just pointing me in the right direction would have taken seconds and made a big difference. Instead, I was made to feel like I was bothering her just for asking a basic question.

What made it worse was that she apologised warmly to the customer she was serving, but didn’t show me the same basic courtesy. The whole interaction felt unwelcoming and unnecessarily cold.

Customer service is about how you make people feel, especially when they’re already having a stressful day.
Lisa you need to go on a customer service course. Or treat people equally I felt you was being racist!!!!

Definitely agree on sending LISA on a customer service course. I see other people have complained about Lisa too.

Lovely wee superdrug my partner was so happy to find his dove roll-on deodorant after not finding it in most big supermarkets recently! The aisles here are much bigger than most other superdrugs i’ve been in which is really nice and accessible. Really nice fella at the till trying to advise us on the ariana grande perfumes although we weren’t too sure either lol. Next time i’m in the area i think i’ll pop in!

Went in at 3:30pm and told us to leave because they were closing although online it says they close at 8pm🙈 so i suggest popping in atleast 7 hours before they “close” as they decide to close whenever they feel like it.

Absolutely in shock with one of the employees, overheard amie being absolutely horrible to her co worker, i needed help picking out some christmas presents as im horrible with make up and all sorts but after hearing that interaction i was too scared to approach her, i simply put my things back and left, i cannot believe the management here allows their employees to be so horrible to eachother.

I would have given 0 if I could. Went in on a Sunday afternoon to have a little mooch with my sister. Got told off for opening an item when it was already open and on the shelf. A couple of minutes passed then we realised all the staff were following us and watching us as they thought we were stealing. Spoke to the floor manager no help help at all and said we were suspicious. I have spent hundred over pounds in Superdrug of the the last few years and felt utterly disappointed today and definitely reluctant to shop there any time soon.

Went in for a lip balm and came out with so much more! Whilst looking at the make up, not intending to buy, I was given some really great recommendations by Emma. She wasn't pushy, was really friendly and happy to demo too, even though she was in the middle of a restock. Was so impressed by her and really like the products she suggested.
