Never had any services here before, decided to get my acrylics removed here as they were in desperate need of being removed and couldn’t wait to go to my usual salon. People were polite, however, the man who removed the acrylics did not do so in a professional manner. he filed my nails all the way off rather than soaking which has led to my nails being significantly damaged, they are brittle, painful, constantly breaking and very tender. I have never had this issue after acrylic removal before, I only get acrylics a few times a year, so the condition of my nails is not due to this. My nails are so painful, this means I can’t get any new acrylics for a while until they heal which is very frustrating. The nail techs here should use proper practice, it is widely known that you should not file down to the natural nail. They also only take cash or bank transfer which is inconvenient

Would highly recommend coming here to get your nails done! Lisa did mine to perfection, she did amazing nail care and the nails turned out incredible! It such a lovely nail salon and everyone working there was just welcoming and lovely!

I used to be a regular customer at Lush Nails when Kat worked there, and she was absolutely lovely. Unfortunately, whenever I had my nails done by male technicians, they would often get damaged or peel off quite quickly. Because of this, I requested Hannah, the owner, if I could be booked only with female technicians, and she very kindly agreed. In fact, she even started doing my nails herself.

You could genuinely tell the difference in her work, she never rushed, was always calm, patient, and incredibly talented. I recommended many friends to her and even brought some of them along myself because I truly trusted her work.

However, one incident completely changed my experience, and I eventually stopped visiting Lush Nails.

In August last year, I had an appointment booked, but Hannah had to rush to the hospital because her daughter had a nosebleed. She had apparently asked her staff to inform me, but instead, an older male staff member publicly humiliated me in front of other customers, wrongly accusing me of being late and saying Hannah had left because of me. When I explained that I had actually arrived on time, he told me I shouldn’t argue and that if I had “so many issues,” I shouldn’t book appointments there anymore.

I later messaged Hannah about the situation. She was very apologetic, and honestly, I felt a little guilty for sending an angry message without knowing she was dealing with a difficult situation at the time. But unfortunately, that staff member’s behaviour is likely costing her business. I’ve since heard similar complaints from others who also found him rude and disrespectful, leading them to go elsewhere for their nails.

It’s been a long time now, and I no longer visit the salon. That said, I would still highly recommend Hannah herself. She did some of my favourite nail sets ever, and I’ll always appreciate the care and effort she put into her work.

Took my daughter for her first nail appointment as she just turned 16, she asked a few basic questions about the process while getting her nails done. The staff (who were all men?) responded rudely and started shouting at her, accusing her of wasting their time.

The experience made her feel so uncomfortable, especially for a little girl doing her first nail visit. When I asked them to stop shouting at her, the man said that if we didn’t like it we should go, so we decided to leave without getting her nails done.
We definitely won’t be returning and unless you want to be verbally harassed and shouted at, neither should anyone else.

Terrible customer service. If you’re getting your nails done for the first time and have any questions about what’s best, make sure you don’t ask them because they’ll tell you what’s best for you is to get nothing done and leave!

Very unhelpful, didn’t understand or even try to understand what we were asking, and didn’t answer our questions, in fact, all their answers were about price when the question had nothing to do with that.

Just extremely rude. Don’t go here :)

I came to get my nails done for the first time, I was asking the nail tech for advice on what to get done and how to protect my nails. One of the workers or the manager got so angry at me for asking questions, he got aggressive and said I “just shouldn’t have anything done”, so I left the hostile place. I was politely speaking to the nail tech so there was no need at all for this rudeness. Also, the answers to my questions were always prices.

Very unpleasant staff and do not recommend.

I’ve visited Lush before and have always been satisfied with the service. The staff are usually friendly and the overall experience has been good.
However, during my visit on 7/3/2026 in the morning for a pedicure, I had an uncomfortable experience with one of the older staff members. While working on my nails, she caused small cuts near my nail cuticles, which was quite painful. Additionally, instead of using proper tools to clean excess nail polish from the sides, she used her own nail to scrape it off, which made the area even more painful.
Apart from this issue, the overall service and environment were good. I’m sharing this feedback in the hope that more care can be taken during nail treatments and proper tools are used to avoid discomfort or injury.

Came here for the first time to get biab, the staff were so lovely and welcoming it was a comfortable experience with a nice atmosphere. Was seated straight away and they encouraged me to take my time whilst picking a colour, they showed interest and great attention to detail with the application. Would definitely recommend!

I wish I could give this place 0 STARS!

The manager especially at Lush Spa is incredibly rude and unprofessional. I have never been treated so poorly by a business owner. He is genuinely the worst!! (Clearly other reviews, by POC, say the same)

We had an appointment arranged and even confirmed the timing with him on the phone. He told us to come at 11:00, and when we arrived exactly on time he suddenly refused to serve us and started arguing about the time instead of taking responsibility for his own mistake.

His attitude was awful from the moment we arrived. He spoke to us in a dismissive and disrespectful way and then literally shut the door in our faces. That level of behaviour from someone running a business is shocking.

The whole experience felt extremely uncomfortable and unwelcoming. It honestly seemed like he only treats certain customers with respect while others are treated badly.

Terrible customer service and a very unpleasant experience overall. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Asked for a very neutral, simple French manicure and the guy used the pomade that was so garishly pink it looked terrible, and when I told him he got angry. How to continue with another nail tech who I think was the manager and he apologise to me, but was then also rude when I asked another simple question later on. I have had so many French manicures in the past and this has been the worst experience ever, I left with my cuticles and my nail tips completely sore and bleeding in three spots because I ended up just asking them to take everything off as I was so upset how it looked at the end. It’s actually just put me off getting my nails done again ever.

I’ve been to lush multiple times now and always have a good experience for gel nails. Cherry always does a great job and is very kind & caring, checking that the colour shade is exactly as I had wanted. Thank you! :)
