I was gifted a voucher to have my nails done by Vanessa, and my friend was convinced that Cottage Claws would be exactly my vibe, she was absolutely right.

I’ve never been someone who regularly commits to having my nails done, but now I’m completely converted thanks to Vanessa. Since seeing her consistently, I’ve had zero damage to my natural nails, which was always a concern of mine. She uses high quality, vegan, cruelty free products.

There is no overwhelming chemical smell you sometimes find in traditional salons. Her studio is cosy, creative, and full of personality, such a lovely sensory friendly space to spend time in.

I’ve honestly never known anyone put so much care and attention into their work. Vanessa truly is a nail artist. She’s created some incredibly intricate designs for me freehand, from little Christmas wreaths, gorgeous Bridgerton vibe flowers and most recently little bugs (Chosen by my daughters). Taking the time to perfect every detail and find exactly the right colours. My nails have lasted up to six weeks with no chipping, only the natural growth.

Beyond her artistic talents, Vanessa herself is just wonderful to be around. She’s warm, easy to talk to, and I always leave having laughed so much. I genuinely feel like I get more out of these appointments than I would from a formal therapy session.

Can't wait to see what other amazing designs the future has in store for us!

Best nails I’ve ever had! Vanessas meticulousness keeps my beautiful nails perfectly in place with zero chips for my monthly refresh (they would go longer I’m certain). A wonderfully creative and truly lovely person, she has an excellent skill! Thank you nail rescuer! Xx

Absolute claw Queen! Nessa gave me a gorgeous manicure and applied builder gel to my nails three weeks ago and they are still looking perfect with no chips or lifting. I’m a busy mum of two young children and I can never get nails to last this long. Thanks so much Nessa. Her claw cottage is also gorgeous and a lovely tranquil space xx

Visited Vanessa at Cottage Claws for some Christmas nails whilst visiting family on my trip down from Scotland. Very professional and accommodating. I’m a nurse and usually can’t have nails so this was a treat! She made sure they lasted my visit but also adapted them for easy removal for when I returned to work! Highly recommend Vanessa’s work, she’s super talented in her designs!

Fantastic experience, and an amazing artist!
Nessa is super friendly and respectful of whether you want a chatty appointment or a chill quiet appointment.
I can’t recommend them enough - we spent some time beforehand chatting about what I wanted, and she brought my vision to life!
The salon/studio is so cute and decorated nicely. There’s a couch and complimentary drinks, so you could bring a friend along with you if you wanted and they can chill out on the sofa.

Beautiful area, there’s parking available too so that’s no problem. Proper cottagecore vibes.

Absolutely love having my nails done at Cottage Class! The space is colorful, comfortable and so relaxed, Nessa is incredibly knowledgeable and so patient with all my ideas for my nails! 😁 Nothing is ever too much of an ask, and Nessa always has some amazing ideas for what we can do! I wouldn't go anywhere else, I always come away loving my nails and feeling amazing after a good pamper 🥰 thank you Nessa! Xx

Loved my visit to Cottage Claws - been a while since I've had my nails done and was fully looked after and felt at home in the studio. Loved that CC was happy to go wild and get creative on my nails and I feel 100% in my SheGo villain era! Only problem now is figuring out what we want to do next!
