Been here twice now and not sure I will be coming back. First time I came they were busy but it seems as though they accept anyone which means that they seem to be rushing the nails. They constantly kept switching staff members so I had about 3 different people working on my nails. Some customers beside me were being so apologetic because she didn’t like what was being done on her nails and the staff member just seemed to get frustrated. All the male staff members are very aggressive and do come across as rude whether they mean to or not. They push my fingers about and it feels like they’re telling me off because my finger was in the way for a second. It feels rushed when you’re choosing what colours you want and they don’t really seem to ask if you’re happy with what they’re doing. Second visit I came with my sister and they were not busy as we were the only two inside, the staff members kept switching though and rushing and being aggressive and rude and it makes us as customers feel like we need to keep apologising for being an inconvenience. Our fingers actually hurt after getting them done being of how aggressive they are. I think it might be because they are trying to fit so many people in and it does seem like they just make up a price in their head at the end.
I found when they’ve finished with your nails they don’t really say anything until you ask them how much it is, they say a number and that’s it really. From my experience of other nail places, it doesn’t make you feel welcome. Previous nail places take time with my nails, make conversation, help me decide on colours, recommend nail shapes and offers a different approach to the design I wanted and this is what you want from nail technicians. It is a shame as the nails come out absolutely amazing and last over a month but the aggression, lack of care of customers hands/nails and lack of patience it seems is what unfortunately is putting me off coming back here.

I have been going to nails by Alex for a while, I came into the shop today to get my nails done and I showed them the picture what was white with a flower, I got asked what length and I said a bit longer please he moved it a tiny bit then I said a bit longer please and he then just cut them making them to short and one of the flower has been rushed and so I called the shop after looking at them and said I wasn’t happy they told me to come back in so I did and then they said they wasn’t gonna fix them or even just redo the flower this is no okay and I personally don’t think the nails I got are worth 40 pounds.

I love this nail salon this one guy is so friendly and really nice who did mine i love them... not too ruff either only hurt a but of the file but not for the rest of the appointment

Thing is I love the nails they did turn out good but there was clearly a misunderstanding because I didn’t get what I asked for and ended up with just French tip, when I had initially asked for gems. They’re the shop that I go to for my nails all the time so this is more of an anomaly, but they were so horrible just tossing my hands around instead of saying things like ‘switch’ I had one of the male nail techs with the tattoo and he’s done my nails before so I’m not sure what caused the hostility. Because I hadn’t even gotten what I had asked for i wasn’t waiting in the chair just to find out he was ‘finished’ but if he has communicated this then I would’ve been able to set it straight. But they’re good and they’re fast at what they do and this isn’t something that occurs every time so. They were also quite blunt with other customers that walked in:(

I’ve always had my toe nails done with them a couple times and I love the results but this time i wanted my finger nails done. I had them done yesterday and tbh my nails hurt because of the vigorous filling and i had three of them bleeding after the process. I’ve always loved their services but not this time round. The first picture is what i wanted and the second picture is what i got. I told the lady i wanted square shape 😩

First time going here, was expecting £55 but only came to £48 so was very happy with that. Polite staff, very clean. Very happy with my nails, lady was very sweet and amazing attention to detail. As seen in photo my friend also got hers done which cost £52. Both look insanely good. Hoping they hold well as will definitely return x

The workers don't speak English, so they couldn't really understand what I was asking for. They said they could do a nail design I wanted, but after they had started doing my nails, they told me they couldn't do it.

I came in with my mum in January. I forgot to leave this review but having seen some of the most recent ones, I felt it was important.
As it was winter, we wanted to check that they had two dryers before we settled down for our pedicure (frequently salons will only have one or two nowadays as most people opt for gel manis). The technician didn't seem sure so she went to get her colleague to answer, who turned out to be the manager. She wouldn't answer the question outright and started to get angry at us for asking it. She eventually confirmed they did have two dryers so we took to our pedicure chairs. She then said they didn't have warm water and started heating up water in a kettle. When I queried this she outright shouted at me, almost burnt me with the boiling kettle water, spilling it all over the floor while dropping her phone in the process as well. It was honestly the most bizarre situation I've ever been in. My mum and I decided to leave and not have our nails done, while the "manager" continued to yell at the top of her lungs while we got dressed.
I am confused how this business is able to run! Avoid at all costs!!
