I’ve just started coming here after being recommended to by a friend. All the ladies are lovely, but Maria is amazing. She is an absolute queen. Always does a really good job, and is so quick. A little out of town but definitely worth the journey.

This place is easily the best nail salon in manchester. The third time I’ve been now and I always get the most friendly welcome. I feel like other salons haven’t always made me so comfortable and welcoming ! After an issue at my previous appointment, they were so quick to rectify the situation and went above and beyond. Huge shoutout to kaye- you have a new regular !!

I booked for BIAB hands and toes, but when I arrived I was told it could only be hands or toes, not both, which was disappointing. My appointment was for 4:00pm — I rang ahead to say I’d be 10 minutes late and was warned my booking would be cancelled if I went past that. I hurried to make it on time, arriving at 4:09, yet I still ended up waiting until 4:40 before my nails were started.

The nail tech had a very negative attitude and seemed rushed throughout the process. She told me to book another appointment for my toes because she had another client coming. The BIAB application itself was rushed, the gel wasn’t neatly finished, and excess polish around the edges wasn’t cleaned off.

Honestly, I would have appreciated being told clearly that the appointment couldn’t be met and being offered a reschedule, rather than being made to feel like an inconvenience. Overall, it wasn’t a good experience.

I recently visited for a pedicure with Steph, and it was such a wonderful experience from start to finish. Steph was so attentive and made me feel instantly comfortable, she’s chatty, easy to get along with, and clearly passionate about what she does. She really took her time to make sure everything was perfect, and the results were amazing!! The salon itself is absolutely stunning, beautifully decorated, and spotlessly clean, which made the whole atmosphere feel so calm and relaxing. I left feeling pampered and refreshed, and I would recommend Steph and The Trend Salon to absolutely everyone!

Such a fantastic service. I've had BIAB and Level2 nail art with both Kaye and Steph and they're magnificent. Their attention to detail with prep is so good that it ensures maximum retention. I had my last set on for 5 weeks with absolutely no lifting. Everything is spotless too. Cannot recommend this place enough! Great salon, talented artists.
