I had the worst nail experience ever — definitely a reminder to check reviews before booking somewhere.

I went in for a gel removal and reapplication. Firstly, the removal took forever and I was left sitting around for ages waiting — I honestly should’ve walked out then.

When she started doing my nails, I had a couple that had broken and were really short. Instead of evening them out, she was planning to leave me with some short nails and some long ones, which made no sense at all. I had to ask her to make them all the same length.

Throughout the appointment I kept pointing out that the shapes were uneven and asking her to round some of them because every nail looked different. In the end I just gave up because I wanted to leave. They’re all different shapes and sizes, and some nails are noticeably thicker than others.
The gel started peeling off after a week also which has never happened anywhere else.

I can also relate to the other reviews mentioning staff being on the phone during appointments, which happened throughout mine too. Overall really disappointing and not a relaxing or professional experience at all.

I got my eyebrows threaded. The lady was nice though I feel my eyebrows were a little uneven. Both nicely shaped but at the beginning of the eyebrow it wasn’t as level as it could be. They will never look identical but I feel they both looked pretty different. One had too much taken off. I got a pencil and corrected it myself. Not very bad but could be better.

I got a wax done today by Sadiya. I felt very uncomfortable as she was asking very personal questions about my past relationships and intentions about marriage. She didn’t cover me when she went outside to see other clients and left the door open. Her waxing technique was very fast and she never asked if I was comfortable with the speed of the wax or hotness. Also when I finished she said it was cash only, I was happy to pay in cash but I said I would get cash out. Sadiya made me leave my handbag in the shop as a mark that I would come back to the cash as she thought I wouldn’t come back to pay. She even said I should leave my mobile phone there which I would never dream of. I was pressured into giving my mobile number to her aswell as she said she can see me anytime that she’s in. I will not be coming back here as I felt extremely uncomfortable.

Very aggressive with my eyebrows was on the phone the whole time shouting down my ear and overall was very rough and took no care also not to mention left my face with brow hairs all over it. Took no time and was a very rushed job

I was passing in Stockport and thought I'd have a pedicure as I had time to kill.

The shop was empty so I went in and asked for a pedicure and was told they don't do men.

I asked why and was told they didn't, with no other explanation.

I thought that was illegal, but having now read other reviews I must say I'm quite happy.

just had the most aggressive eyebrow waxing of my life not to mention she waxed off half the front of my eyebrow and didn't clean them up or anything. lady didn't care in the slightest and i'm really upset with how they look if i could rate 0 stars i would x
also left my friend with hair all over her face and hers are uneven too top it off

This place I'm suprise is still open she does my eye brows awful very rude when on the chair telling me I need my upper lip done and chin area there never satisfied if you only want one thing done they had painted my little girls nails I didn't check they charged me and she missed a few nails on her hand I.did take her back the Polish quickly didn't last this was a while ago I still tolerated a few times to go in.but never got a good job and always greedy asking anything else today not excepting cards only cash avoid this place these women need teaching a lesson not professional at all

I strongly advise against visiting this place, especially if you’re Black. I went there to make inquiries, but the treatment I received was appalling. The lady I encountered was incredibly rude. When I asked about their prices, she dismissively waved her hand toward the door, as if I were completely irrelevant. Her behavior was not only unprofessional but also deeply disrespectful.

The following week, I decided to try Myle Nails, and the experience was like night and day. There, I was treated with kindness and respect, as every customer should be. If you value decent service, avoid this place and take your business elsewhere.

I am a support worker and have been regularly taking a service user to this salon as it doesn't smell of all the chemicals etc that some salons have. Today 19 September 24, I took her in for a file and polish after taking off old nail polish. There were customers having treatments so we thought we might have to wait. The woman came over and asked what we wanted and I said to take off the old polish and file and re do with new colour. The woman said she was busy and proceeded to give me a nail file and remover and to do it myself while we waited. My service user was not happy and wouldn't have her nails done. I was shocked how rude the woman was and she would have expected me to pay to do it myself. Won't be going back. Not good service and staff use the phone chatting in their own language while they're doing treatments which is ignorant. They have now lost a good customer. Don't recommend!! My service user was rightfully disappointed. She loves getting her nails done most weeks.

I had very bad experience with my eyebrow threading. They and uneven and very very thin. The lady who did the threading was impatient to listen to the preferences I explained and then started talking in the phone throughout. She don't even use the proper thead for it, which made the threading more painful than usual. Iam just waiting for my eyebrows to grow back as it is so ugly. Very disappointed.

Horrendous experience. I have grown my eyebrows out for 3 months I have naturally thick brows. I went in for a tidy up and specifically said very little off for the threading. The lady in the shop was continuously talking on the phone the whole time and even talked over me while I explained what I wanted.
My eyebrows are so thin and clearly both different shapes. I would not recommend this place.
