Very disappointed with the service. I did gel manicure and there was polish all over my skin at the end of it. I pointed it out and was told it was because I asked for short nails. I do short nails all the time and never had this problem.

I have tried this salon so many times. Every time, I leave frustrated, and more agitated than when I came in. They don't have a great color selection, and everytime I ask for something (VERY simple), I'm told it can't be done. The work is often sloppy, rushed, and meant to grow out or chip quickly. They try to make up different prices, and nothing is ever consistent. 9/10 times my nails will break shortly after visiting this place because of the lack of care/technique. Take your time, money and energy elsewhere.

Is the second time I come here to do my nails as walk in. Staff super nice and friendly. Is a bit pricey compared to other salons but is very clean. I love the color of my new set even if I hoped for the cat eye to be a bit more sparkly but is ok. Definitely coming back again.

Went for a gel pedicure as my normal salon was busy - the lady who did my pedicure was nice but there is still a lot of dead skin left on my feet, she barely scrubbed at all so I was sceptical, and since getting home I can see she didn’t do a good job on the soles at all. The varnish itself looks nice. The man who works there was so rude to his customer whilst I was in there, raising his voice at her because she didn’t understand the word he was saying (I also couldn’t understand what he meant). Not a great experience, wouldn’t rush back.

Always such friendly and amazing service at Five Star Nails. Have been going here for 8+ years and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Tony my nail tech is attentive, friendly, kind and nothing is ever too much. The rest of the team are so pleasant and sweet too. I always get compliments on my nails hence why I keep going back. The bad reviews are mostly years old and based on the previous owners. 10/10 will always recommend 5 star, the best in the area! Lulu xx
