I’m honestly really disappointed with my experience this time, especially because I’m a regular customer and I usually never have any problems here. I always come to this nail shop and have normally had good experiences, which is why I’m genuinely shocked that I even have to write this review. But this time I left feeling extremely disappointed.

I called beforehand and was told I would need to wait around an hour, which I was completely fine with. However, after waiting almost TWO hours at the salon, the usual lady who does my nails then told me she was fully booked, even though on the phone she had said she would fit me in. That already felt very unprofessional and frustrating.

The pedicure itself was also disappointing. While I was getting my toes done, I could clearly see that the person doing my pedicure was not doing things the same way the other workers in the salon were. It honestly showed that she was not confident or experienced with pedicures. I literally had to point out areas between my toes that still needed cleaning, which as a paying customer should not be my job.

I completely understand if she is not experienced enough or not confident enough with doing pedicures or French tips, but if that is the case then I would have appreciated honesty from the beginning so I knew not to go for a French tip and instead just keep it as a normal gel polish pedicure.

I also wanted to test a few colours on my toes before deciding, which is completely normal as a paying customer, especially after waiting so long. Instead, I felt like she was getting irritated and acting as though I was wasting her time.

To make matters worse, my French tip was not even at all because my toenails were cut unevenly. I was then told it was because my nails were uneven naturally. I politely asked if a tiny bit of powder/acrylic could be added to one broken nail just to straighten it out, but she refused and said if she did it for one toe she’d have to do it for all of them — even though most of my toenails were completely fine and not broken at all.

What made it more disappointing is that this is actually not my first bad experience with the same worker. Last summer she also did my hands and I honestly did not like them at all, which is why I tried avoiding her doing my nails this time round. Unfortunately, for some reason I ended up with the same person again.

Overall, the whole experience felt rushed, dismissive and unprofessional, which is upsetting because I’ve supported this salon for a long time and never expected this kind of treatment.

I’m only writing this review so future customers can be more aware and choose carefully who they book with inside the salon, because unfortunately not every experience seems to be the same.

The person who fixed my nails didn’t like me and it was my first time as well and she didn’t do the right thing for me she told me to pay another money for take off and she insisted on me paying the money before she starts the design making me feel like I’m trying to steal their money or I’m broke which is really bad she was in conclusion rude to me poor and unpleasant staffs I wouldn’t ever recommend this place to any friends of mine

Lovely staff and great service. Have tried a few places in Tottenham over the years and have to say I won’t be going anywhere else now that I’ve been to secret nails! My gel polish hands and feet are still looking fresh a week later!

AVOID AT ALL COST! All these people do is talk bad about you in their language. Disgusting attitude and cut me multiple times. They just make up prices when the nail price board is infront of you. Neon has the WORST attitude and not professional at all! You’re better off going somewhere else.

Never ever returning, needed nails done as emergency and honestly wished i just went to my regular nail shop.
Paid £40 for a infill that looks like this below and lady even had the cheek to try charge me £45. £45 for an infill? And you barely know how to even file a nail. Honestly believe superdrug nails would have costed me a less and looked better than these horrible things on my fingers. Literally left this place in tears.

Came back home and saw my mums nails. They look awful. She got both her hands and feet done. They aren’t even the same colour. Her hands are a colour she didn’t even choose herself, and they look like they were done by a 2 year old. They are smugded, and I can see paint around her fingers. It doesn’t even look like they did an over coat. They didn’t even bother to clean up around her nails! Her eyesight is bad so she can’t even really see how bad they look. I can only imagine they thought they could get away with it seeing as she’s an old woman. I’m so angry. I stopped going to secrets ages ago as the service is horrible. If I knew she was going there I would have stopped her.

Unprofessional staff and rude behaviour they way they talk to clients is awful . No respect for clients appointments they asked me to book and when i booked they said we thought someone else !!!! And the language barrier is big problem they just speak their own language! Never go back again also not all of them does good job

The whole service was awful, very rushed, kept burning my nails with the drill, had acrylic left all around my fingers.
Had to have both hands and feet done again after a week and half due to the fact that they were done so badly.

Bad experience, rude workers, cut my finger didnt even apologise, french tip was wonky when asked to redo the line was met with alot of attitude and started talking about me in a different language. I felt so uncomfortable, would never go here again. Place was unsanitary and the only reason they have 5 star reviews is because they give their customers a 5% to upload a 5 star review. Never again

Best nail salon in the area! Highly recommend!! I showed them an inspiration picture and they absolutely nailed it, looks exactly like the inspiration! Would definitely come back here again, owner is also really nice and helpful when I was unsure about the shape. 🩷

Absolutely love this shop!! Best nail shop in the area, the owner is so kind and considerate and the staff are super friendly. They are extremely experienced in their nail artistry and use profound techniques. I’ve been there many times and I have never been disappointed. I get endless compliments about their precision on my nails. Service is impeccable even during their most busiest times. The pricing is also extremely reasonable
