This was my first time visiting Dilly Dally Nails at Welling and I had such a wonderful experience! The staff were very friendly and provided excellent service from start to finish. I’m so happy with how my nails turned out they look absolutely beautiful and exactly what I wanted.

The salon is clean, welcoming, and professional. They also offer a variety of other beauty services, which is a big plus. I highly recommend Dilly Dally Nails to anyone looking for gorgeous nails and great customer service. I will definitely be coming back! 😊💅✨

I don’t usually write negative reviews, but I feel it’s important to share what happened at Dilly Dally Nails.

I was charged £45 for short acrylic nails, which felt expensive, but I was willing to go ahead. During the appointment, one of the staff was a bit rough doing my nails and accidentally cut my skin instead of the cuticle, and my finger started bleeding heavily. They even thought it was me who did something but I said no? And I mentioned the tool they used cut my finger. It continued bleeding throughout the appointment, and a few other nails turned red and started throbbing. They wrapped the finger in cotton and tried to clean with some sort of solution, but there was no proper apology or acknowledgement of how serious it was.

Despite the injury, I was still charged full price, even though they couldn’t finish the nail on the finger that was bleeding a lot. They told me to come back another day once it healed which is completely fine as my finger did need to heal however with their service to pay full price for what was caused I was in shock. I didn’t know what to do and especially when I left during closing time I was respectful paid in full and left.

But when sharing this to my friends and them seeing my finger with the blood dried and the cut and me just having a finger with no nail, they were in shock to hear the service here too. They told me that I should have asked for a heavy discount and were not happy to hear this either.

When I returned for the follow-up appointment, I had an 8pm booking, yet I waited 20 minutes while another customer was being worked on. Considering I was only there because they injured my finger, being made to wait again felt really disrespectful and especially when it was one nail I thought they can easily start on mine when waiting for the previous clients' nails to dry for example as one of the staff was standing there just chatting away. My friend was with me and was also quite shocked that I was waiting for so long especially when I had to come for a mistake they made. I wasn’t expecting special treatment — just basic consideration.

I left feeling disappointed, uncomfortable, and honestly quite shocked. Honestly appalled.

Dear Jeevana,
I m very sorry that during your 1st visit , that we couldn't complete the service due to the health and safety concern . It is a fact that 1of your finger, the cuticle was bleeding suddenly, after we suggest you a hand wash with nail brush provided in the toilet , then you find the bleeding , You were so calm ,asked for our help kindly .We did use the "Liquid styptic", it is Antiseptic and Sanitizer, to stop the bleeding fast and sanitize the wound to prevent infection .
There is a misunderstanding . We never had the intention to deny the possibilty of mistakenly trim your cuticle causing the sudden bleeding after your handwash, we were just discussing with you what might happened . cause it was all right when we ask you to wash your hand for maintaining a hygiene service.
We mainly want to learn from it and prevent it from happening with you again in the future. Each client's cuticle and eponychium are different sensitivity. It is very necessary to learn and know from each client . If I may, I would like to advise you to inform your future nail tech ,be very careful with your cuticle . you could share the story with the other nail tech. I don't want the same thing to happent to you and the nail tech as well.
Speak of discount that your friends ask you to ask for , also your friends' negative opionions make you feel more sad as you mentioned above . When I heard you said you are sad last night during our conversation , I was very sad as well . the energy passed . It is a very terrible feeling , my heart feels so heavy even when I reply you now .
I thought I gave you the card with a discount offered , but after our conversation last night , I believed that must be me forgotten . I couldn't remerber what exactly happened , it has been nearly 3 week .
I sincerely invite you to visit us again , my discount offer is alway availble here for you . Please allow us a 2nd chance to know each other better .You are such a nice girl . I really really like you , I m really sorry I didn't feel your sad emotion during the time we spent together , you were so calm and kind and supportive . Overall I was really happy to see your cuticle are perfect heeled last week , and the nail are still lasting well now .
