Cuts all over hands and feet, when asked to be more gentle the lady sighed at me rudely. I will not go back my hands and feet are still in pain from how rough the lady was. Shame as the owner seemed nice and I hate to leave a bad review but I’m still in pain days later with both hands and feet cut and since researching if I’m the only one it appears I’m not. It seems to be all one lady, the rude one who doesn’t speak. I wanted to leave part way through, I had told her a few times it hurt, but I had to get my hands done for work and couldn’t book at my normal place and was desperate. I think they need to train this lady as she’s clearly been rude to others and cut other people too. It’s a shame as the salon has good reviews for everyone else who works there and the owner seemed lovely. Sorry but I think I had to say this because my cuts are not healing. See pic with cuts on 4 of my toes, walking now painful in trainers as rubbing more against the skin she damaged with her agressive sanding of my skin.

Hi Ashley,

You have now left two separate negative reviews across two platforms, despite claiming you “hate leaving bad reviews.” If you had concerns, raising them during your appointment would have allowed us to resolve things immediately — especially as the owner was physically present the entire time. Nothing was mentioned before, during, or after your service.

As already explained, the technician you saw is a trainee, which is reflected clearly in the reduced price. Clients choosing trainee services understand that the technician is still learning, and this is communicated at the time of booking and again on arrival. Leaving multiple negative public reviews about a trainee who is still developing their skills is unfair and can seriously impact their confidence, especially when no concerns were raised at the time.

You continue to claim you were “cut several times on your hands and toes,” yet again, you have only provided a photo of your feet. If your hands were also affected, we would expect you to show this so the issue can be properly assessed.

Regarding your comment about an “unclean towel”: (posted on Treatwell)
All towels are professionally washed at high temperatures after every client. Suggesting otherwise feels unnecessarily petty, especially given you made no comment on the day.

We take hygiene and client safety extremely seriously, but we also expect concerns to be raised honestly, directly, and at the appropriate time — not days later across multiple platforms without contacting the salon directly.

We are always open to constructive feedback, but the claims being made here are inconsistent and were never mentioned when we had the opportunity to address them face-to-face.

Tracey has converted me into a fabulous nail girlie… and I am so grateful! Good vibes, decent prices and just REALLY skilled nail technician. The builder gel is my fav, I really don’t know how she does it so perfectly.. the shape and texture is just flawless every time. And they last aaaages, once like 5 weeks, no chipping, no peeling, no fading. Just a very very happy fabulous nail girlie now 💅🏼
