I booked an appointment on line and paid the £20 deposit. I was due to attend my appointment tomorrow but had to cancel due to receiving a late notice appointment to attend hospital tomorrow. I called the salon and was told that I would be charged the full price even when I explain about the hospital/. I even informed them that I am disabled and actively being treated so hospital appointments have to take priority. The person from the salon was dismissing me and stating that it’s company policy and she would need to seek approval from management to not charge the £68. I understand about cancellation but I did not know about this appointment at the time I booked for my nails and it is outrageous to charge for a service that I have not received. Even if they took the £20 deposit but the whole £68. I will never book with them again. Yet another gentrification example of the problem of not knowing your community!

Love this nail salon! Have been 3 times for BIAB and my nails & nailbeds are looking so strong. Got Easter yellow last week which could go badly wrong if it wasn't a great manicure, but I just keep staring at how perfect it is. The team are all lovely, chatty and super welcoming. Update - still going to luna and Wilde 18 months in, their manis are the best and the vibes are on point

I first walked in Luna and Wilde when they opened 5 years ago, and have never stepped foot in another salon since. This place is the absolute best, the team are brilliant and the nails are always perfect. I’m gutted to be moving away from London but I’ll have to make the journey back to Brixton for my nails! 💕

I had such a great experience at this salon! My nails turned out exactly how I imagined—perfect color and shape. The nail technician was so friendly, bubbly, and made me feel completely at ease. We had a lovely chat, and the whole vibe was super welcoming. This is definitely my new go-to nail spot. Highly recommend!

Loved everything about this place! It's super friendly and welcoming, the shop itself is clean and attractive - you can see the care and attention taken, and the thought that goes into the little details. Booked for my 1st Biab manicure as recommended by my sister who is a Luna and Wilde regular and knows how I’ve struggled to find somewhere that cares for natural nails. Friendly and warm atmosphere from when I arrived to leaving. Service as impeccable, taking time as stated in booking and I love that the staff are so knowledgable and caring about the services they provide and explain everything. No drills or harsh files. Shout out to Ellen for my amazing nails and amazing service and care. Also her and Ewyn for being so incredibly friendly and warm on my first visit of many. My nails look amazing. Finally somewhere that caters to the natural nail girlies.
