The fella who cut my hair could hardly speak English, It took him 70mins to half Complete my hair, charged me £25 for a £5 job. I would not recommend rio or salsa next door as both belong to same guy. Absolutely rip off.

Absolutely horrible, do not go here! I went to get my eyelash extensions removed, and thought, they can't mess up such a simple task right?! When I showed up at the salon, they weren't really aware that I had booked a time and kind of mumbled me to come in. I should've already been alarmed by the scotch tape the technician pulled out, to secure my lower lashes. The removal had been going on for about 30 minutes, when I noticed the technician was clearly starting to feel frustrated that they weren't coming off. So she poured the removal liquid straight from the bottle onto my lashes, and obviously the liquid seeped through into my eyes and started burning insanely. The stinging was too much for me to take that we had to stop halfway, leaving still a few lashes, chunks of glue on my eyelashes and very red eyes. They were very rude when I told them that the removal should not hurt or sting my eyes like this and that I'm not happy at all with the service. Oh, and by the time this all was over I had been there for an hour. Stay. Far. Away.

Do not get your hair cut here. I've just had to pay for a second emergency haircut to fix the mess they made of the first one. It's lopsided, uneven and just nothing like what I asked for. I showed them a photo of what I wanted three times and they seemed to just ignore it completely. Can't believe I actually paid for this. From the minute I walked in I had a bad feeling and I wish I'd just walked out.

Most awkward experience ever! Just avoid this place. The owner did my nail removal and wasn’t even able to do it properly. Didn’t offer to cut them
She even didn’t let me wash till I asked twice which was weird. It’s sad as the place is well located but shame about the customer service

I was dreading going for a wax as I hadn't been for 9 months. However it turned out to be the most professional waxing experience I've had. Valerion ( I hope I have spelt your name right) the therapist was freindly professional using good quality products, and providing a nearly pain free experience. I will definitely be going back, thanks again

Terrible experience!!! I’m giving one star but they don’t deserve even this! I’ve come in asking for an acrylic full set and french, first of all they couldn’t do acrylic as they don’t have... I have been proposed to do gel nails (and i’ve Asked in advance 3 times if that would be possible and they’ve confirmed) but once I was there she made me the manicure (even not well done as she just cut my cuticles) and we’ ve Stopped in the middle of the treatment because they even haven’t got the papers to do gel nails.... I haven’t asked for the manicure and they made me pay the manicure not even done well and that I haven’t requested, plus made me loose time, plus didn’t have the materials to work, plus even the gel was liquid and not strong to work with.... horrible result... for the full set with tips they ask 45£ .... good I found the Chinese that are always working good for just 16£.... I should have understood that was not wort it as a place from how empty it was on a Thursday afternoon, when all others were full of people.... they were polite I have to say.... but honestly they shouldn’t make me pay for something that I haven’t requested, that hasn’t been done properly and that I didn’t want and that was included in the full set !!!
They don’t accept card payment and the lady to ensure I could find the cash machine followed me until there! Terrible! I definitely don’t recommend to go there!

The perfect place where you can get a proper wax without any pain or discomfort, also recommended for a professional gel manicure or reconstruction. The massage chair during the pedicure is very relaxing, the staff is friendly and capable, I'll came back as soon as possible

If you’re looking for a beauty salon that is clean, friendly and provides you with a comfortable environment to relax in, Rio is the place to go! The customer service is 10/10, all staff are welcoming, and genuinely care about your wellbeing.

I have been getting my nails done for many years, and Rio is the first place that taught me how to take care of my nails! Ladies honestly think about the nail shops you go to. Do you see them clean their equipment? Do they teach you about the importance of nail hygiene, and nail care? This is something I’ve experienced at Rio, and I’m so glad this place has opened.

Also would recommend waxing there, first time I ever done it and the lovely manager ensured I was at ease and took me through the process step by step. Give it a try!
