I’m very picky with who I allow to do my nails and Alana at Sassy is the only person in London who I will let touch my nails! She’s quick but she still takes extra care your nails and her precision and skill means she’s great at more intricate designs too. The salon is clean and the prices are competitive. I would honestly love to gatekeep this salon for myself because I don’t want appointments to go - but that would be doing a disservice to the public.

Here are some of my nails- (all of these are gel on my own nails which last around 4 weeks, bear in mind I work in a job which requires lifting weights and washing up)

My go to nail tech, Alana takes pride in her work & makes sure the results are beyond satisfactory. The warm & welcoming atmosphere she provides in her studio makes it a bonus too. 10/10 would recommend!

I really wanted to like this place and gave it several chances, booking with different team members to see if things would improve. Unfortunately, most visits were disappointing.

The staff rarely seemed friendly or welcoming, and the quality of the work was inconsistent depending on who you get, your nails might look okay or quite poorly done. What bothered me most, though, was the atmosphere. There’s constant complaining, gossiping about other clients and a lot of conversation in a foreign language while serving people who clearly don’t understand it. It feels unprofessional and uncomfortable, especially when you’re hoping for a relaxing experience.

It’s not about the language itself, but about professionalism and respect. When you’re working with English speaking clients in an English speaking country and when you clearly speak the language as well, communication should feel inclusive.

Sadly, after several visits, I decided not to return. Very disappointing overall.

I have been going to see Lowey at Sassy Nails for almost 18 months now and she’s THE BEST. I travel here especially and I don’t trust anyone else to do my nails now as I always leave with the most flawless BIAB manicure which lasts me 4/5 weeks. I couldn’t recommend her and Sassy nails enough!! Alana the owner is so lovely and does amazing nails too
