I’ve been coming to this salon for over 3 years now and I honestly wouldn’t go anywhere else. My nails have always been strong and long-lasting — I’ve never had any issues with breakage.

There was only one time when I accidentally broke a nail myself due to impact, and when I came back to fix it, the salon kindly repaired it free of charge, which I really appreciated.

The team is always friendly, welcoming, and professional. Visiting the salon is not just about getting my nails done — it’s also a relaxing experience after a long day at work.

Highly recommend to anyone looking for quality and great service!

Following the salon’s response, I feel it’s important to correct several misleading points.

Firstly, I booked an appointment for a take off and fresh set. When I arrived you advised I didn’t need a fresh set but just two new ones to address my concerns of a strong smell.

The chipping occurred within hours of application, this clearly shows poor application. The suggestion that I caused the damage through chemicals or external impact is highly unlikely after such a short time. Nor is the claim that their response was founded in attempting to identify the cause to make sure it didn’t happen again, as is seen by the blatantly rude comment ‘if you say so’!

I visited another reputable salon who repaired the French tip only and it has remained completely intact since. This directly contradicts the claim that the issue was due to anything other than the original application.

Notably, the salon’s response focuses on deflecting responsibility onto the customer without any accountability.

For transparency, I have included screenshots of the message exchanges so readers can form their own view of how this was handled. I have also included updated pictures showing the repair carried out which have remained intact.

I stand by my original review. Both the quality of the work and the way concerns have been handled fall well below a professional standard, and this experience confirmed my decision to go elsewhere. As you will see, any time a customer raises concerns and negative reviews, the owner’s response is both dismissive and rude.

I had a very disappointing experience at this salon. I had infills with French tip extensions (gel) and nail art on two nails. By the following morning, the white tip had already started to chip, which was frustrating given how recent the appointment was.

I contacted the salon to explain the issue, expecting a helpful response. Unfortunately, I received a rude and accusatory reply suggesting that I must have used chemicals or caused the damage myself. This was not the case, as the chipping began within hours of leaving the salon.

When I clarified this, the response I received was dismissive and condescending (“ok, if you say so”), which I found very unprofessional.

After spending nearly £50 (including a tip), I would have expected better quality work and far better customer service. Sadly, this experience has left a very negative impression, and I will not be returning.

I absolutely love Nails with Dee. They are the only salon I go to. When I have my busy weeks and I’m not in town I still just wait. They are fast and accurate, lovely customer service and they look after my nails. Price is always fair for the quality I get. I use my visits to relax and catch up on a couple of podcasts whilst they revamp my nails.

Booking is by appointment mostly and they are always punctual, with clear and consistent pricing. I have been visiting Nails with Dee for a few months for BIAB treatments. Today I attended an appointment for a BIAB removal, during which the product was removed using only an electric file. As a result, my nail bed now feels damaged and extremely weak.

This method of removal was very different from my experience a few weeks ago at the salon with my sister, where her BIAB was removed using acetone.

I raised my concerns with the staff member who I believe is the owner, but was told that acetone is not required and that BIAB should only be removed using an electric file. Based on my research that ancetone should be used to soften the Biab and the condition of my nails following this appointment, I am disappointed with this approach.

Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this salon which is very disappointing after I had referred my sister and her friend.

As a side note, I have also experienced occasions where the salon has been happy to accept bank transfer as payment and subsequently refused bank transfer and wants cash only which is odd and inconsistent.

This place is very rude. I called for an appointment first they hung the phone up on me when I said I couldn’t hear them, I called back straight away asked for the same thing and she said have you been here before I said no this would be my first time. She said sorry we’re fully booked and hung up the phone. No problem if you’re fully booked but there is a nice way to communicate a first time customers especially.
