If I could give 0 stars I would. I had a appt booked a week in advance for a mani pedi for my mum's birthday, and when we got there they said they don't take appts even though they literally took down my mum's name and number for the appt. Then we waited for her appt and noticed they took a walk in to do a mani pedi though my mum had a booked appt. When I told them this they just said it is very busy and we have to wait even though we had a booked appt. They were taking walk ins that came in after my mum.
Goes without saying this is bad customer service.
We noticed they had left another lady after her mani pedi and focused on someone else's nails who came in after her.
We left without going through with the appt and went to another nail salon who also had many customers being tended to and took my mum in for a mani pedi right away without an appointment.

This salon used to be my go-to, but the quality of service and level of care has significantly declined. Appointments now feel rushed, with little attention paid to what the customer actually asks for. You have to repeat your requests multiple times to different staff members, yet they still proceed without properly checking whether you are happy during each stage of the service.

The biggest issue is that they prioritise speed over accuracy. Instead of confirming shape, design, or finish as they go along, they rush to complete the appointment. By the time you realise something is wrong, the nails are already finished and you are put in the uncomfortable position of having to ask for them to redo the work entirely.

I was also disappointed by the hygiene standards. Staff were using the same brush to sweep away nail filings from both hands and feet, which is unhygienic and frankly unacceptable in a professional salon environment.

Overall, the experience felt careless, rushed, and lacking basic customer service and hygiene standards. Sadly, I will not be returning.

This is my 3rd time coming in Five star nails and I always had a wonderful experience. The nail technicians were friendly and polite. Dong got my acrylic nails done perfectly such a hard working person🥳

This salon deserves 5 stars! I’ve been coming here regularly for my nails and have always had a great experience, but today really stood out thanks to Tammy.

I came in for my appointment with a very irritated, red eye, and Tammy immediately noticed and showed genuine concern. She didn’t hesitate to help—she kindly got me some eye wash and took the time to help me clean my eye and make me more comfortable. It was such a thoughtful and caring gesture, especially as it was completely beyond what you’d normally expect.

It’s not often you come across that level of kindness and attentiveness. Tammy truly went above and beyond, and it made a stressful situation so much easier for me. So thank you Tammy really appreciate the kindness you showed me today.

I'm extremely happy with the salon and the staff's approach. They're very nice people. I've been going there for a year now and I'm happy. So if you're looking for a place worth recommending, this is the place to go. I'm a difficult customer, undecided when it comes to color or pattern, but the staff are very patient, so they're great with me, and that's why I gladly return to this place :)

This is my second time having an extremely bad experience at five star nails. Every time I went the staff would give you a price at the start then speak to each other and change it once it’s done. They gave me a quote of £42 then at the end said £52. That’s not even the worst part, I showed a very easy design and they refused to do it. The staff that started my nails crossed his arms and refused to do it because I asked for the french tip to be thicker, a service that I AM PAYING FOR. The first time i went the lady just started doing her own thing, I asked for almond tips with thick swirly pattern and she refused to do it and did a square tip and didn’t let me choose the length because she thought the design wouldn’t look nice. This meant I had to go home and file them down myself. They are so rude and I felt so uncomfortable with the service, even if they are speaking in their own language they are clearly laughing and shaking their head for everything I asked for. Luckily I went with my sister in law and she was there to support me if I went alone I would’ve been so upset.

very good service and price, i took my mum here who has never had a manicure or pedicure done and she loved it, the chairs have massage settings which are amazing and they apply the gel very precisely which i loved. Even have a hand massage which was amazing. Quality of nails are good and the manager along with technicians are all very sweet and amazing! 5/5 stars will be coming back
