Just a bit dissappinted with the customer service interaction.
I've not had my teeth whitened before, was not told what goes into this process just taken downstairs.
No interaction
On her phone, maybe it was work related but the whole time
Not telling me anything about what was going on I've never done this before. Where was the 'hey, it's your first time, this is what happens'. Nothing...
Guest experience is important these days, I work in the industry and if am spending money some courtesy or small talk about what is going on gies along way
Thanks but will find another place in future.

I booked an appointment for March 21, and my nail tech cancelled on the day, 2 hours before my appointment. She asked to reschedule and I agreed, rescheduling for April 11. I received no confirmation but assumed it was going ahead given that I had spoken directly to my nail tech over messages. On the day of my appointment I traveled over an hour to TK Beauty Bank and found it was closed. After standing outside for around 15 minutes (at which point it was almost 10 minutes after my appointment should have started) I messaged her and she informed me that she wasn’t even in London. I decided not to reschedule again and asked for my deposit back. She said that this would take 3-5 working days. 16 days later it still has not come through, despite me messaging again on April 19th. My message has been left unopened. This whole experience has been unprofessional and disorganised, and I wonder if the whole thing, despite previous good reviews, is a scam.

We’d like to clarify that the nail technicians working within the shop are self-employed and manage their own bookings, schedules, and client communications independently. As this appointment was arranged directly with the nail technician, it was not a booking made through TK Beauty Bank itself.

That said, we’re very sorry for the inconvenience caused and understand how disappointing this situation must have been, especially after travelling such a long distance. While refund arrangements would need to be handled directly by the technician who took the deposit, we will raise these concerns with them regarding the professionalism and communication described.

I've been here multiple times now and WILL keep on coming back I've met all of the ladies here and they are each equally as lovely, Maya has done my lashes so many times and she is Amazing and so light handed and pulls off every set. Tyler has done my fillers and massater Botox she's so light handed and very educated she really makes you comfortable and takes time to assess what needs to be done I would 100% recommend 🩷🩷

I visited TK Beauty Bank for a nail appointment with the independent nail tech mk_nailedit, whom i found on instagram.

Firstly, I want to make it clear that the salon itself appeared clean and professional when I attended. The environment was pleasant and the space looked well maintained. However, unfortunately my experience with the nail service itself was extremely disappointing.

Within only a few days of getting my nails done, multiple nails completely popped off. I take good care of my nails and normally my sets last around four weeks, so this was very unusual. These weren’t small chips or minor lifting, the nails were literally coming off within days, meaning the set did not even last a week.

I contacted the nail tech as soon as the issue happened to try to resolve the situation. At the time I was travelling and in a different country, so I could not immediately return to the salon. I explained this and provided details about what had happened. When I eventually tried to arrange a solution, I was only offered one very limited time slot that did not work with my schedule, and when I asked about alternative options such as a refund or another way to fix the issue, this was refused.

As a customer, it’s frustrating to pay for a professional service that should last several weeks, only for it to fail within days and then not be properly resolved. I was essentially left with nails that had fallen off and no reasonable solution, even after the nail tech had stated it was an issue with her product.

Again, the salon itself seemed like a nice environment, but my review specifically relates to my experience with the nail technician mk_nailedit who operates from there. Based on this experience, I unfortunately cannot recommend the service I received.

Thank you for your feedback. We are pleased to hear that you found the salon environment at TK Beauty Bank clean and professional.

For clarity, mk_nailedit operates as a self-employed technician who rents space within the salon, and appointments and aftercare matters are managed directly between the technician and the client.

When you raised your concerns, an appointment was offered so the nails could be inspected and repaired. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, a service provider must be given the opportunity to assess the work and, where appropriate, provide a repair or repeat service. As you were travelling and unable to attend the appointment offered, the technician was unfortunately not able to inspect the nails or carry out remedial work.

We would also respectfully ask that any further discussion regarding this matter be handled privately, particularly as recent social media activity has resulted in a number of abusive messages being directed towards the technician. Everyone has the right to share their experience, but harassment or abusive behaviour towards individuals is not acceptable.

We remain open to resolving matters in a constructive and respectful way.
