You attended the salon after purchasing a Groupon deal for a leg waxing appointment. As with all appointments, you were allocated a specific time slot. Punctuality and cooperation during the appointment are important because delays affect other clients, place pressure on staff, and can disrupt the business.

Our therapist politely asked you to prepare for the waxing treatment and waited outside the treatment room to give you privacy. After several minutes, when she entered the room, you were still seated and had not prepared for the treatment. She then politely asked you to get ready and position yourself so the waxing could begin. At no point was the therapist rude or unprofessional.

We take all genuine feedback seriously, but we also have a duty to protect our staff and our business from statements which we consider misleading, unfair, or damaging to the salon’s reputation. Under English law, a false written statement that causes or is likely to cause serious harm to a person’s or business’s reputation may raise issues of defamation. For companies, serious harm generally requires serious financial loss.

We therefore respectfully ask that reviews are based on accurate facts and do not misrepresent the service provided. We remain committed to treating every client professionally and respectfully, and we expect the same courtesy towards our staff.

As stated in the terms and conditions of Groupon, customers must provide a valid security code to secure their booking. This is a standard procedure that ensures appointments are properly confirmed. You confirm by message that you were aware.

You never intended to provide a valid code. All WhatsApp messages and call records are documented and can be verified. At no point was any rude or disrespectful language used by our staff, I mentioned the message above.

We take our reputation seriously and will not tolerate false or misleading statements. Defamatory reviews can have legal consequences, and we reserve the right to take appropriate action to protect our business.

The treatment was carried out by one of our highly qualified therapists, who has over 15 years of professional experience. At no point during or immediately after your treatment did you raise any concerns or mention discomfort.

We take customer care and professionalism extremely seriously. Our salon follows strict hygiene and service standards, and we always encourage clients to let us know if they are not satisfied at the time of service so we can immediately resolve the issue.
