Google I visited Townhouse in Bank this week for a gel removal and manicure. My service was carried out by Insha and I left with a cut on my finger caused during the treatment from the use of the nail file.
I reported this to customer care. I was told they could only offer account credit/points and was asked to provide images for training purposes, along with suggestions to rebook.
It is difficult to understand how a customer who has been injured during a treatment not carried out with reasonable care and skill would be expected to return.
For a premium-priced salon, I would expect a much higher standard of care and a more appropriate resolution when a client is injured.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend this salon.

Google I don’t normally leave reviews, but this experience at Townhouse Bank was genuinely disappointing — especially given the reputation and price point.
My nail tech, Insha, was very sweet and polite, but the actual manicure quality and handling of concerns were poor. The BIAB and gel application ended up extremely thick, lumpy and uneven despite me specifically mentioning I prefer a thinner application. When I pointed out that one nail was visibly uneven, I was told that if I wasn’t happy I should contact Customer Care… while she was still doing my nails.
Even after acknowledging the nail was uneven, she carried on without fixing it until another colleague stepped in. By the end, multiple nails were uneven but I honestly, I just wanted to leave rather than sit for another hour through more corrections.
Very odd and uncomfortable experience overall, and unfortunately not the standard I would expect from Townhouse.
