Very concerning experience. During my pedicure, a metal scraper was used so aggressively on my heel that it caused an open wound. The wound was not disinfected at the salon. It later became infected, requiring urgent care, a tetanus shot, and antibiotics. Weeks later, I’m still in pain and not fully healed.

Had a BIAB nail extension; my technician was possibly the most passive aggressive and unfriendly individual I’ve experienced in that setting, with multiple eye rolls, tutting and huffing for asking a question; she would definitely benefit from basic education on how to behave around clients. Such a shame as technically she did a reasonable job but would have done better if she’d actually done her job properly by understanding what it was that I was looking for in the first place.

I’ve been a loyal customer to the other branch for a while now (in which the quality of my manicures has significantly dropped recently) but I have had a really horrible pedicure here today. Firstly you pay for gel removal and expect it to be safe but they only keep the foils on for about 2 minutes (supposed to be around 15) and then scrape the polish off, severely damaging the nail plate. If I wanted to destroy my nails I could do that at home for free. The gel polish is always undercured because they rush you and don’t actually care about your health.

They don’t listen to your requests. I asked for my toenails to be filed straight and to leave the sides alone Don’t file them in or round them off. The lady did not listen she did the opposite of what I asked and filed the sides in and rounded the corners and she ruined my baby toes they are filed sideways for some reason and feel really painful now and other toenails are also going sideways and jagged. It looks ridiculous and feels so uncomfortable. The skin underneath my feet is also broken and rougher and more dry than when I came in. How is that possible??

When I mentioned it the state she left my nails in she said she didn’t do that and it’s probably from my previous pedicure. It was not. They were normal before. I felt her filing the sides off my nails aggressively and then I saw how bad they looked. Why avoid responsibility for your actions? The steamer at the end of the pedicure wasn’t even directed at my feet she placed it in the wrong place it was blowing steam off in another direction she didn’t even notice. Completely careless. I have no trust here anymore they don’t care about you.
