I highly recommend checking the reviews of this salon before booking an appointment because the negative reviews are absolutely not exaggerated. My experience here was honestly shocking, especially because of the older man working there, who I believe is the manager. His behaviour was rude, aggressive, and extremely unprofessional from start to finish.

This was my first time visiting this salon for nails. Before they even started, I clearly showed multiple reference pictures of exactly what I wanted. I showed them again during the appointment and even at the end because the final result looked nothing like the design I had asked for. Instead of communicating properly, they continued doing whatever they wanted.

The biggest issue throughout the appointment was communication. English was the only common language between us, but they struggled to understand me and never properly explained what they could or could not do. If they were unable to recreate the design, they should have said that before starting instead of taking my money anyway.

At one point, I politely suggested that they should consider keeping someone at work who can properly communicate in English with customers, because this is the only common language many people in the UK can use to communicate. I am not English myself, but English is still the practical language people rely on here when they come from different backgrounds.

Some regular customer sitting there suddenly got offended by my suggestion and started involving herself in the situation even though it had nothing to do with her. She told me I had “no right” to say that because I am “not English myself.” That comment itself was ignorant and unnecessary and so racist. Wanting basic communication during a paid service has nothing to do with nationality.

I even explained that it would make no sense if I walked into a salon speaking only Hindi to staff and then called them rude or racist for not understanding me. Communication works both ways. Customers should not be expected to learn another language just to get their nails done. I genuinely hope they are not expecting people to learn their native language before booking an appointment there.

Throughout the appointment, whenever I or other customers tried explaining something, the staff would start speaking in their own language while looking directly at us and laughing. You could even catch English words in between, making it obvious they were discussing customers while they were sitting there. It felt incredibly disrespectful and uncomfortable.

When I asked them to fix my nails, the older man suddenly started shouting at me, saying, “This is what you wanted,” and “We are closing, we don’t have time.” He also claimed they did not have the products needed for the design, which should have been communicated BEFORE starting the service.

Things became even worse when he made a racist comment saying he could not understand “Indian English.” When I called out how inappropriate and racist that was, he ignored it and sarcastically asked, “Are you done paying?” At that point I just wanted to leave because the environment had become hostile.

After I paid, he rushed to the door, blocked my way, pushed the door shut, and made me feel genuinely intimidated and unsafe. I had to show proof of payment while he took a picture of it before finally letting me leave. As I walked away, he shouted after me in the street trying to make it look like I had done something wrong.

Not only did I receive nails completely different from what I asked for, but I also left with cuts on my fingers, felt humiliated throughout the appointment, and experienced behaviour that was rude, racist, intimidating, and completely unacceptable.

I would strongly advise people, especially customers from different backgrounds, to think twice before going here. No customer should be shouted at, mocked, intimidated, or made to feel unsafe simply for asking for the service they paid for.

Owner Response:

This young girl acted and behaved discriminatoryly . Speaking disrespectfuly to others. Our customers had to stand up and react angrily, even arguing with her. It was terrible.
I don’t understand why Google Reviews accepted two 1-star reviews from this girl.

I came in asking for a clean, structured French tip with a sculpted, elegant design (as shown in the reference photo), but what I received looks rushed, uneven, and poorly executed. The shape is inconsistent across nails, the white design is bulky and messy rather than precise, and the overall finish lacks the smooth, refined look I specifically asked for.

The detailing is especially frustrating. Instead of crisp lines and a balanced pattern, the design looks thick and almost melted onto the nail. Some nails aren’t even symmetrical.

I paid £45 expecting professional quality, but this feels like a beginner-level result that doesn’t reflect the reference at all. I left feeling really let down, especially since I showed exactly what I wanted.

I wouldn’t normally leave a review like this, but the difference between what I asked for and what I got is just too big to ignore.

UPDATE:
26/04/26 - 12 days after i got them done, two already snapped off while i was doing daily tasks.
