Hi, I’m very sorry to hear that you’re unhappy with your recent experience, as this is never something we want for our clients.

I would like to clarify the full situation so we can have an accurate picture here. You have visited our salon many times before — I remember your first visit was when you were pregnant — and you also brought your mum for treatments a few times. Throughout all of those visits, neither you nor your mum ever experienced any issues with our products or services. We have always used the same professional gel brand, DND DC Gel Polish, and you have never had a problem with it in the past. For this reason, it is surprising to see you describe our products as “cheap,” as that does not reflect any of your previous experiences with us over the years.

During your most recent visit, you showed us several photos of nail designs that were all created on long acrylic extensions, but you insisted on having gel polish on your natural nails only, at your natural short length. We clearly explained that your nails were too short to achieve the same look, and that gel on natural nails cannot provide the same durability or structure as acrylic extensions. We also advised that the longevity of gel on natural nails depends heavily on your nail strength, how you use your hands, and daily activities — especially since you cook, clean, and do baby duties. Despite our recommendations, you still chose gel on your natural nails, and of course we respected your choice and did our best to recreate the design for you.

When you later contacted us about two chipped nails, even though you had chosen not to take our advice at the beginning, we still offered you a free repair as a goodwill gesture. You arranged to come on Friday at 4pm, then changed it to 4:30pm, and finally arrived around 5pm — at which point we already had five clients waiting, meaning we were full until closing so we couldn’t fit you in. We politely asked if you could return the next day (Saturday), but unfortunately you did not come back for the repair before leaving this review.

We always aim to look after our clients and we stand by the work we do. That is why we still offered you the free repair, even though we had already advised you in advance about the limitations of gel on short natural nails. If the repair had been done on Friday — or if you hadn’t arrived late - I’m sure this bad review wouldn’t have been left. It is not fair to blame the salon as a result of your late arrival which is outside of our control.

I would also like to point out that the name on the Google account you used to leave this review does not match any of our client records or the account you used to contact me many times before. For transparency and fairness, we hope that you won't use fake accounts to give reviews.

We genuinely don’t know what more we could have done to make you happy, as we followed your wishes during the treatment and still offered help afterwards. Since you arrived late and did not return for the free repair, you did not give us the chance to help before leaving this negative review.
