Google I went in and asked for my acrylic nails to come off, I asked for them off 3 times to make sure I was being clear, the lady asked me if I wanted a base coat to protect my natural nails and said I’ll still have my natural nails exposed I wasn’t entirely sure what she meant so I said yes but when I left I ended up with incredibly thick acrylic nails again even though I asked for my natural nails, I went back to get them off AGAIN and till this day there is still hard glue stuck all round my natural nails 💔 I won’t be coming back here…. So devastated
Owner Response:
Hi Anna,
We are very sorry to read that you were unhappy with your experience.
After speaking with the team, we have been able to identify that you were seen by one of the self-employed nail technicians who rents space within the salon. All of the professionals working within Durham Salon are self-employed and manage their own individual client services and bookings.
That being said, client satisfaction is still extremely important to us as a salon, and we are sorry to hear that there appears to have been a misunderstanding regarding the treatment you requested. We understand how disappointing this must have felt for you.
If you would be willing to contact us directly, the salon owner would be more than happy to see you personally to assess your nails and help rectify any issues wherever possible.
Kind regards,
Durham Salon 🩷

Google I can’t recommend this salon enough! It’s truly the best in town. From lashes and nails to massages and face treatments, every service is top-quality. The staff is incredibly skilled, friendly, and professional, making you feel pampered from the moment you walk in.
Their lash extensions look flawless and last beautifully, the nail services are meticulous with a great selection of colors, and the massages are so relaxing—they melt away all the stress! The face treatments leave my skin glowing every time.
If you’re looking for a luxurious self-care experience, this is the place to go. Five stars all the way!
