This Superdrug branch is genuinely one of the best I’ve visited. The first thing you notice when you walk in is how massive the store is — it feels spacious, well-laid out, and easy to navigate even when it’s busy. There’s a huge range of products, far more than you usually get in a typical health and beauty store, and everything is clearly organised so you’re never hunting around trying to find what you need.

Some members of staff and managers are so unprepared on men’s products it’s ridiculous. On top of that I bought 3 items and the advertised prices were different from the actual prices I got charged. I won’t be making names but the person at the till was talking very quietly, uninterested and just looked annoyed for having to work. Don’t know if this individual was a diversity and inclusion hire but that’s the first thing that comes to mind because putting an individual like that in customer service is not best of choices and honestly it looks forced. 2 stars because at least the store was clean.

Amazing service at the Stanway, Colchester Store. I was doing a big shop before Christmas purchasing a number of perfumes and aftershaves. I explained my budget for each person, gave a description of who they were to me (son, daughter etc) and their lifestyle. From here the assistant (Melissa) took time to recommend scents. I am thankful for her friendly and professional service .

We visited the store this afternoon. 3/11/24. My wife speaks little English, we were looking at the make up section, I was struggling finding what she was looking for. A young assistant, Megan, asked if we needed any assistance. She was great, Helping my wife find exactly what she was looking for, she helped choose the colours, She then explained the offers. A great asset to the company. It’s very rare nowadays to find such amazing customer service. Thank you so much.

Went here to get my eyebrows threaded and paid £11. The lady did not seem to know what she was doing and pulled a few hairs out and send me on my way. Had to pluck my own eyebrows when I got home. Don't waste your money.

DO NOT SHOP HERE. Management treat their staff so poorly. I was in the shop and saw one of their workers on the makeup isle sobbing in tears, they refused to let her leave to go and calm her self down. No one bothered to check on her the entire 25 minutes I was there. I will never be shopping here again if this is how their poor staff are treated. Disappointed
