Don’t get your nails done here!

I have been here a few times. I’ve always been very patient when they are running 30minutes late and I have had to sit and wait. The last time I visited, there was a gap in my nail polish and I asked the lady if she could fill it in. Once she understood what I was saying, it took 2 seconds for it to be corrected. The next time I booked, my appointment was cancelled by text saying
that they were “unqualified” to do nails. After days of calling and texting to ask for clarity on this very confusing message, they told me that because I had asked for the gap my my nail polish to be filled in, I was no longer allowed to book appointments there because it took them too much time.

Basically, if you make any kind of comment on their work, you get blacklisted and you will be blocked from making any other appointments.

This place has no clue how to value and treat their customers well and need a lesson in customer service.

“I booked a pedicure /manicure for 14:30 with a specific technician. I wasn’t seen until nearly 3pm, with no apology, and was switched to someone else without being informed. I walked out. Very poor communication and disappointing service.

OMG I would never go back to this nail salon again.
This was my second visit as first time, booked online and selected manicurist. Arrived at said time and had to wait but didn’t mind that too much. Then was directed to someone else who I didn’t book appointment with. No apology or explanation given. Wasn’t too impressed. Also was just having a manicure with my natural nails as I am lucky to have strong nails that grow quite quickly especially during summer months. However manicurist was just going to put coloured polish on my nails without a base coat. Never experienced that before. I had to ask for a base coat and on asking was looked at like I was crazy. Anyway put that experience aside and decide to give Lillys Nails another try. Talk about from bad to worse. Again booked online had to wait 15 mins after appointment time with no apology again. This time was placed with a male manicurist who I didn’t book. Again no explanation. He too didn’t use a base coat on my nails. Then half way thru left me to do a customers feet without using gloves then came back to finish my nails. Needless to say this put me right off and I told him he needs to wash his hands before touching me as he’d just been touching someone’s feet. I got the same crazy response but the end another employee told him to wash his hands. I left there feeling sick and definitely not a place I’d visit again. Sorry Lilly’s nails tried twice but you’re definitely not up to standard.

By far the best nail salon I’ve been to in Southend - all thanks to Mina my nail tech who was so polite and welcoming. She asked me what I wanted and helped me decide, and payed such close attention to detail the whole way through - a real perfectionist and fun to talk to :) the result was perfect!

I have been having my nails done for the last 30 years and have never been so disappointed with my infill and pedicure. Visited this shop this morning and had to tell the girl 3 times my nail was put on wonky. She filed away and told me it looked fine from her angle and I even had to ask for skin round my big toe to be taken off as it was loose bits of skin that had been left after my pedicure. Awful uneven paint. Very disappointing service. Worse nail shop in 30 years of having nails done and price quoted when booked wasn’t what they charge. I was quoted £27 for infill and £35 for pedicure making it £62 but was actually charged £72

I've been going to this salon for over 20 years now, the service is excellent and the technicians are very good. The pedicure is very good. I always try pedicures abroad and in places I visit but nothing compares!

Me and my sister in law decided to try out Lily nails as it was the only place we could find who did toenail extensions as a service. We also got acrylics put on our hands too, we both got french manicure done on hands and feet and can honestly say the experience was great! The staff were polite and ensured that we was happy with our nails the whole time. We are extremly happy with the results and can’t wait to come back again! Will deffo become our new nail bar!

Ken and his team are phenomenal. I’ve been going here for years now and even though I moved to Rawreth I travel to Westcliff still to get my nails done by Ken and the team. The shop is peaceful and the staff are so kind with lovely energies.

Personally, I’ve had many good experiences at this place but the new man in there did my nails awfully! There are lumps, air bubbles, hair and uneven shaping. They are thick and heavy too. I, personally, would stick to Ken Daisy or Lily.
